OFFICIAL: Remo Stars Midfielder Akinsanmiro Joins Inter Milan On Four-Year Deal

Serie A giants Inter Milan have completed the signing of Remo Stars attacking midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro.

The 18-year-old who joined Inter after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal on Tuesday, is expected to join their youth team.

A statement from Remo Stars read: “Midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has completed his move to Italian giant, Inter Milan from Remo Stars.

“The teenager who is an academy product of the club has signed a four-year deal.

“He was part of the team that helped Remo Stars gain promotion from the Nigeria National League to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) in the 2020/2021 season.

“He also featured in the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League.

“Most notably, Ebenezer featured for the academy team, Beyond Limits in The Creative Championship and Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament.

“Everyone at Remo Stars wishes him all the best during his time with Inter Milan.“

Italian media outfit TuttoMercatoWeb had reported Inter have been looking to add talent to their youth system, with the Primavera team having won the Under-19 Scudetto last season.

But a number of the young players who starred in that team have made the step up to the senior professional game this season.

TuttoMercatoWeb reported that Akinsanmiro is a player who has been on the Nerazzurri’s radar for some time but also attracted interest from a number of top clubs in Europe including Real Madrid and Benfica.

  • Nigeria is full of talents and we can never lack talents going forward…… Everyday new talents are born and everyday new talents are conceived in the womb of our women…… Anybody going backwards to the past to seek for talents does not know Nigeria at all……Back to the topic……Ebenezer is a big and strong lad with lots of energy in him……He retains possession very easily and has a very nice passing range…….I have Been monitoring his progress for a while now and Many top clubs wanted him ……Hope he developes well at inter Milan.

@Akp. Nigeria is like Brazil where football talents are everywhere. Nigeria will continue to produce them for the World. Good luck son.

Apparently, Madrid and Benfica were also interested in the chap, but Inter beat them to his signature.

But I thought some people said we have no talent in any NPFL team? We just get carried away talk as if the football played in Brazil is different from one played in Nigeria… If we put our house in order we no need beg anybody.

Ndi Nigerian players don’t go from NPFL to a good European club. Ngwa the best legs in Nigeria are abroad. You see your life. Evil fans with evil intensions will be vomitting raw sewage.
Heaven bless all deserving homebase Super Eagles players.

Some pipo are saying we should turn the national team into THE EXCLUSIVE PRESERVE of home based players. They want only home based players to be in the SE. They don’t kia about playing our best legs, WHEREVER THEY MAY BE FOUND. All they want is home based players.
Akinsanmiro is not home based anymore. He is now Italy based. So by their wishes, Akinsanmiro is now out of the reckoning for SE invitation!!! Confusion wey scatter bone, na em be dat.
What the progressives are saying is very simple. PLAY OUR BEST LEGS. If all of them are home based, FINE. If not, we should look for them all over the globe, and assemble only the best to play.

I maintained home based players are not good to play for the Eagles bcos the league is dead. You can’t site this as an example if that’s your plan. From the information most of us get here, he is more or less like an Academy player.

You people should stop advocating for players who can’t even qualify for Chan and the Caf champipns league abeg.

The likes of Osimhen, Chukuweze, Awoniyi among all were all academy players here in Nigeria. So until you mention any player who actively play in your so called NPFL for 2 to 3 years consecutively before making it to Europe and yet still perform well, pls stop recommending them for the Eagles.

Our best legs remain abroad. Simple
