Ole Set For Massive Top-Four Bonus

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can pick up a £1m bonus if he secures a top-four finish for Man Utd this season, according to senior club sources. The Norwegian is reportedly on a six-figure package thought to be worth around £50,000-per-week during his caretaker tenure, although he can top that up further by securing Champions League football for next season.
That looked a remote prospect when the 45-year-old agreed to help his old club out late last month, following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho as boss.
United were languishing in eighth spot and nine points behind fifth-placed Arsenal, before a run of five successive Premier League wins under Solskjaer.
The Red Devils will even leapfrog the Gunners this weekend, if the north Londoners fail to beat Chelsea and United can grab a maximum haul at home to Brighton.
Solskjaer has put himself firmly in the frame to keep the job on a permanent basis and finishing in the top four is likely to achieve that, along with the extra cash United will hand him as a thank you for turning their season completely around.
The Manchester giants earn around £60m for being involved in Europe’s elite competition, so the £1m bonus to Solskjaer wasn’t a hard thing to factor in.
