  • The most important part of this story is that Leganes guarantee their La Liga status next season.

This means that Omeruo is set for another season of regular football in one of the best leagues in the world on this remarkable journey of becoming one of Nigeria’s high calibre dependable defenders.

Providing he can rid himself of those occasional lapses of concentration that have been detrimental to the Super Eagles on occasions, he will do well from here.

  • Ola Aina Back from Injury excellent news for the defense, As for Kenneth Omeruo to me he is coming right at the right time the only defender left in tyhe back line with Afcon glory to his name and in my views the best of the 4 when we won the title 5 years ago on that basis. He should be a sure starter ahead of Balogun. The Defense looks good enough to cover our Goalkeeping worries

  • Kenneth Omeruo is a Talent and is peaking now just like Drogba did at age 27 but, Ken is only 25 amazing time to peak. This season in La Liga is proving to Chelsea that they have a true talent on their hands, not that I ever doubted Kenneth because, against Iceland at the World Cup he was the best Defender on the pitch. Not to mention how he Marked Edson Cavani almost out of the game in 2013 Confederations CUp against Uruguay. Kenneth has always had loads of Talent

Completely agreed. That match against Uruguay was the best l had the privileged to see of Ken. His marriage at Enugu was fantastic too. Yes o.

Good defender, he just needs to work on his speed and pay more attention to the opposing attackers, he can be guilty of ball watching at times. That’s why Balogun is still preferred
