Onuachu To Lead Super Eagles Attack Vs Cameroon

Onuachu To Lead Super Eagles Attack Vs Cameroon

Genk forward Paul Onuachu is expected to lead Super Eagles attack in Friday’s (today) international friendly against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Completesports.com reports.

The Super Eagles will be without injured Napoli striker Victor Osimhen for the game and Onuachu will get the chance to prove worth on the international scene again.

The 27-year-old enjoyed a prolific season in the Belgian Pro League netting 33 times in 38 appearances for Genk.

The tall striker was on target in Nigeria’s last outing against the Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun, Lagos in March.

Kelechi Iheanachom who also enjoyed a good campaign in the Premier League for Leicester City is expected to support Onuachu upfront.

The game will take place at the Stadion Weiner Neustadt, Vienna.

The two teams will clash in a second friendly at the same venue next week Tuesday.

Obviously, from this decision of Rohr’s, he’s clearly looking out for all-out GOLAZOS, like Bang! Bang!! Bang!!! (apologies to Femi Kuti, lol)

Let’s hope Big Paul repays this kind gesture tonight, fingers crossed.. though he’s somewhat proved himself already in cameo appearances

One other thing, is there no way we can all compel NTA to be showing Nigerian matches live? Remembering the fact that we are the vocal populace. I need answers, please.

    • Pardon me, but I think with regard to NTA, we should rather be compelling the government to sell the monolith to a 21st-century investor, or take the management away from old men with expired ideas or just fold it up entirely like Nigeria Airways of old and replaced with a new, more modern one.

NTA for me is just a fund-guzzling broadcast station pretender that is still existing in 1982 (the station is frozen in the past). A living embarrassment to Nigeria. The last time I was forced to watch Nigeria’s match on the station, I almost had an eye problem. Otherwise, I’ve almost forgotten there’s anything called NTA.

We don’t have to close this case. Let’s explore means on how to compel it to do our bidding. A match of let’s say 120 mins, we cannot be that docile. We can begin to start organizing social media protests on complete sports. #NTA-bringBackSuperEagles2us campaign.

        • Lolz…. Bro just use ur data and watch the match online… Don’t stress urslf o!

  • He is the obvious choice to start upfront. The most experienced and inform of all the strikers present. Kelechi plays better behind the main striker so he may support onuachu upfront from the right. Simon may also start on the left. Look out for marcus and moffi replacing both onuachu and kele in the second half. With olayinka or musa coming in as well. Troost ekong to captain the team.
