Bright Osayi-Samuel was on target for Fenerbahce who defeated Hatayspor 2-0 away in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Osayi-Samuel last scored on 22 October, 2023 in a 4-2 win also against Hatayspor.
The 26-year-old now has three goals in 14 league appearances for the Turkish giants.
The Super Eagles defender opened the scoring in the 24th minute following an assist for Edin Dzeko.

Also in action in the game was Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who came on in the 61st minute for Hatayspor.
Fenerbahce, 73 points, moved to the top in the league table but could relinquish the spot if Galatasaray (72 points) beat Besiktas away today (Sunday).

I saw the match and can say besides Osayi being an unstoppable full back, his dribbling skill coupled with his runs are unmatchable and are assets the current Super Eagles interim Coach, Eguaveon needs to tap from. I can only wish the young lad more goals even as a defender.
He is a bang on Average player he is not Super Eagles material I would rather have Zaidu and Ebuehi battle that Position out. All these players Peseiro called upon At Afcon Yusuf Onuachu Osayi Samuels were all bang on average when called upon in Afcon only Kelechi, Terem and Omeruo added something when called upon exposing the weak bench Peseiro took to Afcon when we have better players in Europe..Yusuf had 1 good game at AfCon and as the saying got when boys had to be separated from men he got exposed.
Goes to show when Boniface Awoniyi and Ndidi are injured our team struggles all hopes not lost with Tella and ORBAN Sheduled to have more of a run going forward along with the return of the aforementioned names future looks good.
We need to look at the likes of Kelechi Nwakali in that Midfield role too and make as I keep saying Olise a priority no more inferiority complex we are Super Eagles and should go about commanding first choice dual nationals in high demand by both nations.

Ugo really I think it’s unfair to condemn osayi as an average player and a player not too good for super eagles m I am surprised because you’re a knowledgeable football analyst on this forum. Osayi played his few matches for the same super eagles and did well. He was the best in the pitch in those matches.
I have learned not to condemn players so quickly like that. Osayi is good and is good for super eagles. He is second only to Aina. Ebuehi has lost his time with the team. He had lots of opportunities.
What eagles did at afcon and how they rose to the occasion has taught me some lessons about condemning players do quickly.
Ademola was really not useful for super eagles before afcon but he rose to the occasion at afcon.
