Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has lavished praise on Arsenal for winning the Premier League title after a long wait.
The North London club sealed the 2025/26 Premier League title on Tuesday night after a dramatic chain of events that finally ended a painful 22-year wait for the crown they last won in the 2003/04 season.

Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Burnley 1-0 on Monday in a tense encounter to move closer to the title, but confirmation only arrived the following day when closest challengers Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Reacting via her official X handle, Oshoala praised the club’s resilience after years of falling short.

“I’m glad they won this early, more rest period for them ahead of the UCL final.”
