Where is our man that is always saying “Ire oh” Omo9ja or so. Once he comes now he will say Osimhen was supposed to score 7 goals in that match but Gernot Rohr made him to score only 3 hahahaha.

  • It could have been more than 3, it could have been 5. All the same it was a nice warm up. Im so happy to see osimhen so relaxed and enjoying his game. The team genuinely seem happy to have him and are doing all they can to make him settle in. Cant wait for September 20. I wish him all the best. His success will open doors for more Nigerians I believe and ofcus it will make the SE more stronger.

Napoli really showed they wanted this boy all through this summer. And that was why I felt like yanking off his ears when he was foot-dragging and waiting for bids from EPL clubs that wouldn’t respect him one bit. Napoli has made him a focal point of their team and all the supporting cast are always searching for victor to feed him with balls. And with quality and intelligent players like Mertens, Insigne, Lozano all playing behind him…..I can put my money on Victor hitting 20 goals and above this season….and that’s being conservative.

  • X Factor Player. Patiently waiting for Nwakali turn to Blow up as well this season. God Bless you Victor Keep shinning.

  • Oga Chairman relax. We all want the very best for him. Our man of the moment. Osiwonder!!! Osigoal!!!!!!

It’s a good thing that Victor is scoring Hattrick because when Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi do that in both friendly matches as well as main matches , no spectator or football fan had to be telling them that it’s too much or allay fears of defenders tackling them because it’s what they do and what they’re payed to do. Being bought with such an amount of money from Napoli is no joke so he has to prove that he’s worth the buy. For Godsake we Nigerians should stop being negative on this chapter. I’d say to Victor Oshimen go for it , you’re amongst the best the world . Hopefully the next world player of the year since George weah .

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been consistent doing these goals scoring for decades with fesr and that’s why they’re the best in the world .
Victor should walk that path as well should he be recognised as well. Period.

    • My brother you just spoke my heart. Oshimene has no option but to deliver. We can only help him with our prayers. He has everything to deliver at the highest level. You only need to see how he did it at under 17 world cup. God will help him.

  • @Olusegun, let’s stop dragging issues unnecessarily. What does that have to do with negativity? Let’s learn to hear people’s heart in comments before we go after them with guns blazing. Those statements were made on a lighter note and out of care. So it’s just unnecessary to start branding people as being negative based on that. Let’s learn to take things easy with each other joor. Let’s learn to be a little gentle on each other.

Osimhen is almost the complete striker. He can score with both feet and with his head, he can dribble, his pace is frightening, he can give assists. He is our official penalty taker. If he adds scoring freekicks to his game, that puts him on a level that is close to Drogba! That is the only thing Drogba has over Osimhen currently – freekicks. I would love for Osimhen to train and become a freekick specialist. Many of the great forwards in the modern game are good at freekicks. Messi, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Neymar, Hazard, Mbappe, Griezmann, etc.
Gattuso and co would love to help him. If he can try and add freekick scoring to his already impressive skills, he will become even more valuable.

    • Drogba is also poor in penalty conversion, he has a poor conversion rate of 55% of the kicks he took. No stricker can be absolutely complete.

Agreed, no striker can be absolutely complete. Nobody is perfect. I was just wishing that Osimhen can add freekicks to his arsenal. If he succeeds in doing that, his club and Nigeria stand to benefit.
BTW, Transfermarkt.us shows that in his entire career from 1988 to 2018, Drogba took 38 penalties, scoring 31 and missing 7. That’s a conversion rate of approx 82%. That’s not poor by any standard. Can you kindly share your source for the 55% you claimed?

By now,all the instruments would have been set in motion to destroy this great talent Osimene,if he had made the mistake of going in EPL way. There would have been poisonous whispering everywhere, such as Greenwood, Rashford etc are better than him, oh he is rubbish oh is he even worth that money? etc, evil scheming to whittle his huge talent down instead of supporting/encouraging him as almost the whole of Italy is doing at the moment. Lesson for other EPL craving nigerian players. Ahmed Musa’s case readily comes to mind. God bless Osimene n all other SE players.
