  • Good move you made a good choice.

  • @Tancosports your starting xi is not bad but i prefer omeruo to ekong. Ekong is not all that good he is overated i dont know why GR allways pick ekong ahead of omeruo.

Should this be a debate of who is better than who or who should start a sE match?

I will go with Ekong. More Faster and less error prone than Omeruo. Ekong also has the Leadership quality in him as Jara compared to Omeruo. Also, my brother EKONG is not over-rated. Infact, he’s more better than some joke of Defenders at Arsenal

That was Taribo West (our best defender of the last 20yrs) verdict on current SE defenders.

Ekong and Balogun remain our best CDs….it is not even up for debate. Our defence started leaking goals the moment “others” started coming in.

Balogun is quality among them, the rest are just managing.

Which of the Balogun? The one loaned to Wigan? Stop dwelling the pasts, football is all about present form.

…still based on current form…Balogun is the difference between Wigan going on relegation and finishing midtable this season. By far the most intelligent Nigerian defender available currently

MAY GOD BLESS YOU VICTOR OSIMHEN
NIGERIANS WILL BE VERY PROUD OF YOU SOON,IF ONLY SUPER EAGLES COACH WILL CONVINCE IGHALO TO COME BACK AND PAIR YOU BOTH IN NIGERIA,S ATTACK.
THEN THE WORLD WE SEE SOMETHING.

Current form,Balogun is well ahead of the rest. His only negative is his injuries problem but God bless him to get over that. Defending, needs intelligence, maturity, ability to see danger from afar and organisational ability. He Balogun has got everyone of these while others lack atleast one of the above but all of them including Balogun needs to build on their endurance. Just my personal observation

@ dr drey, u said it all. Since the inclusion of awaziem omeruo and the rest our defends started licking gbam. These other defender are prone to errors. Omeruo, awaziem na gbri gbri them they play for us. Omeruo is not improving his best games was at 2014 worldcup. Awaziem is not ripe enough, ajayi seems to give some hope lets wait and see.

Which one be “Gbri gbri” again….hehehehe!
Omeruo and Awazzy have done well for us ooo, and they also tried at Leganes, even though the club got relegated. I see them as useful members of the squad. If anything happens to the first choice defenders, these guys have shown that they can be relied on. I know they can be error prone at times, but for me, their positives are much more than their negtives.
