Osimhen Prefers Arsenal To Manchester United

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is reportedly willing to join Arsenal over Manchester United and Newcastle United this summer.

Osimhen has been linked with the Premier League trio, who are keen to bolster their attacking options at the end of the season.

Newcastle United reportedly tabled an offer for the Nigeria international in January which was rejected by Napoli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by The Express, say that Osimhen would be prepared to join the Gunners over both United and Newcastle, who are both also said to be interested in a deal.

Arsenal are desperate to sign a new striker with Eddie Nketiah and Alexander Lacazette set become free agents this summer.

The Gunners will however need to pay at least €100m to sign Osimhen, who still has three-and-a-half years left on his contract with Napoli.

The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in 29 outings so far this season for the Partenopei.

Arsenal are likely to finish in top four in the Premier League this season, which will also play a key role in bring Osimhen to the Emirates Stadium.

Transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio recently stated that any club interested in Osimhen will have to pay at least €100m (£83.7million) in order to secure his signature.

“I don’t think he will be sold for €80million (£68.6million) because he was bought for €70million (£60million). So, I think that (Aurelio) De Laurentiis is very smart to buy and very difficult when he has to sell the players. I don’t think he will let Osimhen go for less than €100million (£83.7million) – minimum. So, it depends on which club in Premier League will have all this money to spend in the market only for one player,” Di Marzio told wettfreunde.

Osimhen linked up with Napoli from French Ligue 1 outfit Lille two seasons ago, after an impressive debut campaign for the club.

I hope not, their fans are too toxic, and would be expecting him to bring down heaven, manu have the problem of pundits, but trust me the club is more tolerant, look at Maguire and pogba, playing crap although their years there and they refer to them as top guns. Go to manu or better, Newcastle in epl, currently no much pressure there until next three four years maybe lesser, oil money to get better players to support him, verg direct style of play, general mentality of the squad to prove that they now belong among the big boys, if psg comes calling, go there and bag trophies with a bigger chance of winning the champions Leagu. arsenal owners act poor, the fans after seeing that such money was spent on your head when there’s no much cash would expect you to perform like messi every week, too much pressure

Stay at Napoli and improve your game for another 2 seasons before any move.

  • Wise Choice Osimhen.
    Aubameyang is Out
    Lacassett will be out
    Same for Nkethia
    So what’s up?
For Man Utd, Ighalo and Cavani..a big lesson.

Oshimen should be strategic on his next move and not just go to any club . He needs to be playing in European competitions and win them as well as compete for league championships as well . He shouldn’t be hyped by the money but the direction the club is going in winning lots of laurels . Arsenal is not in that line at the moment as they’re still getting their feet. Secondly , Victor should still hold on at Napoli till he finally head to a champions league club/ league contender club . He better be careful .

I would have love him to stay 1 more season at Naples but hell NO. It’s very obvious his teammates are jealous of his achievement hence they suffer him by not feeding him enough passes even when he is free and in good position to score. Insigne, not only the culprit here just that his own selfish is not from this world. Most of Napoli players from midfield to wingers don’t like to pass to striker they rather prefer shooting from am impossible angle. For example, Politano, Zelesky, Fabian Ruiz, Lozano and even Mertens self has joined the league. So if Osimhen truly have a concrete offer from PSG, I’d advice him to take it with both hands, cuz Messi is not selfish and i trust Osibobo he will carry Messi and dem Neymar join body and they will like him for sure and feed him passes. NAPOLI doesn’t have a winning mentality this is the best moment they can win Serie A but see how they mess it up because of his selfish play from Midfielders to wingers. Osimhen won’t really improve as we all want if he continue staying there because they won’t stop starving him with pass

I wish PSG interest is real.I prefer him going to a Champs club where he can win trophies and compete in Champions league every year. Only PSG among his admirers can offer that. Not even Man U or Arsenal. Even AC Milan still stand better chance to win domestic league and features prominently in the Champions League at the moment as compared to Man Utd and Arsenal.
