St Helens centre Mark Percival believes his side will have to be on top form to topple Wigan Warriors in the next round of fixtures. Saints lead the way in the Super League with 38 points, eight clear of closest rivals Warrington and 16 ahead of defending champions Wigan.

The Warriors endured an horrendous start to the season but have found some form in recent weeks and will seek to extend a five-game winning run at St Helens on Friday. Percival is looking forward to taking on Wigan and is in confident mood, but he admits Saints will have to be at their best if they are to claim the win.
“Wigan are coming good now, they are climbing up the table and they are a great side so to get a derby game at home next week is going to be brilliant,” the 25-year-old told the club website. “We are playing well, they are now playing well so it should be a really good game.”
