Pape Souare will miss out and could prove a long-term absentee, having dislocated his shoulder.
Boss Roy Hodgson revealed that Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham have been out training again and could be involved this weekend.
He said: “Both are doing as much as they can at this stage of recovery from a long-term injury.
“Unless anything happens between now and tomorrow morning, which can always happen to players with long term injury, I envisage both of them being able to play.”
Meanwhile, Hodgson is expecting a strong Spurs line-up at Selhurst Park after they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup semi-finals 4-2 on penalties at Chelsea on Thursday.
He added: “It went to the lottery of a penalty shootout, which is a tough way to lose. “As far as I am concerned they are one of the best teams in the country. “They will be disappointed to be out of the Carabao Cup. They will now turn their attentions to the FA Cup, which is a competition they are capable of winning.”
