Perfect scouting, uzoho should be told to start playing regular club football before further invite ASAP! If not please avoid him, he keeps embarrassing Nigeria! Amas obasogie has a calling in goalkeeping like pastors have a calling in God’s work. Amas should be next number 1 effective immediately! Stanley should be number 2 and that keeper in Nigeria league who presently have 10 clean sheet should be invited to challenge. Anything foreign keeper ? Just forget all of them for now! Amas obasogie is the next enyeama! Amas has everything in his locker! Penalty expertise, clean sheet regularly, great unbelievable quality saves regularly, insurance fc captain fantastic! Our Nff ? Do they even know anything? Certainly not!
why are they looking for other goalkeepers? I thought someone was arguing and insulting everyone here that dare challenge his know all attitude that Uzoho is the best we have and all the goals he conceded will beat any world class keeper including a free kick from 40 meters out?
Who else can that be than the Mr Toxic that Knows it all?… The most annoying thing is he insults anyone who does not agree with his argument on any Football topic… I wonder why he has not been blocked or kicked out of this platform for calling people dorm, stupid, idiot and imbecilic…
Hahahaha…MR Olodo. Cheap liar
“A GK should come out and claim cornerkicks at the opposite edge of his 6 yard box”…LMAOoo.
Pls tell us how many GKs you have watched in all the top leagues since then, coming out to claim cornerkicks on the alternative edge of their 6 yard box or saving bullet freeheaders in their 6 yard box…LMAOoo
Both Umar Sadiq’s goals for sociedad were near 40 yard screamers without any defensive walls covering the GKs sight…I have not seen you open your wide mouth to condemn those keepers, all the glory has been to the Striker who hit those shots at goal, but Uzoho must be a super human and save goals which GKs across the world concede….LMAOoo
Please go and copy and paste where Dr Drey ever said Uzoho is the best we have….LMAOoo.
Don’t worry, the way yall used your wide ignoramus mouths to chase 5 goalkeepers away in 5 years is the same way yall will still chase the incomimg ones away….unless it’s not this leaky ajayi/bassey/omeruo central defence we will parade at AFCON….LMAOoo
The boy should better go and get himself jazzed up properly in his village before accepting to man the Goal posts for Nigeria….LMAOoo.
Peseiro should give other goalkeepers that chance, especially the Insurabce FC guy and the other from SA. I don’t know if we still have the time for trials, but calling them to camp and using them especially in the upcoming preparatory games will be a nice idea. There is a thin line between between home-based keepers and those abroad as things stand now. We don’t even have any keeper in any top club in Europe right now. And the Uzoho playing in Cyprus has been naking a lot of errors of late, not because he’s not good because he’s currently very low in confidence and his game time is too poor for a keeper
Papafem, I have no problem, with any GK Peserio calls up. I am not Uzoho’s father neither am I Okoye’s inlaw.
But the delusion we have, that we have one stand out GK somewhere who will be an instant Enyeama is nothing but a butt of jokes. Even Enyeama was not an instant success, he bloopered consistently for 3 years in his first trimester as Nigeria’s GK culminating in Nigeria missing the 2006 Worldcup with the ball creeping beneath his armpit vs Angola in Kano.
Like I have said before and will say again, we dont have any GK problems, we just have a toxic working environment for our GKs and that isnt even helping them.
Akpeyi’s crime was conceding a freekick from a world class freekick taker. Back then a South Africa based GK was not good for the SE despite the man emerging as the best GK in the CAF CL in his team’s run to the final.
Okoye’s crime was not saving a swerving long ranged shot vs Tunisia
I dont even know what Ezenwa’s crime was.
All of a sudden, nobody is even talking about the “Israeli messaih” Adeleye anymore, unlike before, because the boy has not been an Enyeama in his first few games.
Save for the blooper vs Saudi Arabia (Saudi’s first goal), there is no goal Uzoho has conceded that I have not seen beat GKs in the EPL, or La Liga or even in the UCL in the last 2 months. Those GKs must be useless, same way the 2 GKs who conceded near 40yarders from Umar Sadiq in the La liga over the last 2 weeks are also useless.
The grass is always greener on the other side until we get there. That was the story of a certain Theophilus Afelokhai until he swallowed 4 goals against Togo homebased….LMAOoo
Let Nwabili come and have his turn biko. I hope he has the skin of a crocodile to withstand the venoms of ignoramuses who will expect him to come out to claim corner kicks floated to the alternate edge of his 6 yard box or save a free header from point blank range in his 6 yard box….LMAOoo
Why wait till Now!
The last friendlies was enough time to try new goalkeeper , but this lazy coach played Uzoho in all the friendly games.. what time does he have to integrate nwabili so he can be ready for the Afcon.. I’m glad there are two games lined up before the start of Afcon..
Uzoho needs competition.. he seem to be too confident he is always going to play and why he is quick to insult those who criticize him.. competition in that position is all that is required.. only players who play for their clubs should start games.
@ Ololo, abeg make Uzoho go. He’s not a serious person. The coach has faith in him in all games played so far but Uzoho has consistently failed the coach and the Nigeria People.
No other Nigeria goalkeepers have been given Opportunities like Uzoho in our National Team – Not fair to the rest goalkeepers.
Do we need an Oracle to tell us Ozoho is an unserious goalkeeper? A serious minded goalkeeper will learn from his primary school boy errors and improve but that is not the case of Uzoho.
Uzoho makes primary school boy errors in crucial matches and drinks water like an old man.
Iwoyi laaro abi?
Yeye people, yeye man…If you like try and put Calamity Frank between the sticks again and see what will happen to you!
For it to be common civilians who point you in the right direction in your own job and they are not the one’s getting paid to be doing the job but you – says a lot about the state of Nigeria and the NFF in this particular case joor!
Mtcheww!
Come what about Ezenwa? I don’t know much about him apart from the fact he impressed me when he was our keeper – so what happened? Why have they suddenly stopped even considering him? Calamity is not even good enough to lace Ezenwa’s (the floor dancing goalkeeper’s) boots!
Chaii! which way Nigeria??
Ire O!
Your right bro Nwabali and Amas are good to go. Uzoho and okoye are not reliable with good goal keepers super eagles may win the trophy we have the players the team just few adition of players and the coach should drop some players to accommodate inform players
The likes of Uzoho.Okoye.Aribo.moffi.collins.musa.lukeman.onyeka.should not be in the plane to cotedivoire.the likes of Nwakali.Alasan.Balogun.Amas.Nwabali.Akpom.Oban should be included.
Truth of the matter is that Mr. Peseiro is slow in doing these things. Those group matches against the likes of Sao Tome would have been the time to try out some of these players, especially the goalkeepers.
Both Nwabali and Obasogie should have been tried before now. Ajayi and Bassey should not be our central defenders. Ajayi just isn’t an international caliber defender and Bassey should be returned to the left-back position. I would play Benjamin Fredrick and Igho Ogbu over them in that position any day.
Have long been calling for the invitation of Kelechi Nwakali given our lack of creativity in mid-field.
And for those raising the roof about Nigeria winning The Nations Cup in The Ivory Coast next year, I say dream on. We will be lucky to get to the quater-finals.
You are chosing an uncapped Benjamin Fredrick and an untested Igho Ogbu over Bassey/ Ajayi ?????? lol. Thank God You are not a Coach.
@ Complete Sport, why are you guys deleting my posts? It’s shame you guys can’t stand vocal Nigerians. You guys can keep your site for those that will kiss your asses not not me.
Don’t fall for this . Paisero knew wat he went for in south Africa.
I just pray he got a good result in Cote D’Ivoire.
Cheaper united is trying to get him cheap .do say I told u .
I thought as much
The name is Nwabali, not Nwabili
