So you think the others hate Chukwueze you and my fellow Dr Drey are simple definition of foolishness.

I don’t know why some people become provoked unnecessarily. Chukwueze is good, yes. But there are guys in the national team setup currently who can bench him. Fact. And Marcus is showing strong signs that he is also good enough to challenge for that jersey.
Having a strong bench is what wins trophies. This is a good thing, not something to be getting angry about. Let’s set our personal agendas aside.
Chukwueze was supposed to be the next Arjen Robben. He has the pace and the skills of Robben. What he lacks is Robben’s goal threat. Robben was a goal machine with that left foot of his. He could shoot from distance, he could curl in freekicks, he would cut in from the right and use his left to whip in shots or crosses. Goal threat is where Chukwueze has been below par. If he can work on this and become more of a threat, then his jersey becomes more difficult to take from him. For now, that jersey is up for grabs. As our highly educated colleagues, doctors Oderinde and Toto would ask – Who is faaaaar better?

This is an example of what I’m talking about. I’ve seen Marcus do this several times, and he scored a wonder goal just like this once.
Chukwueze has talent in abundance. Is it lack of courage/confidence that is limiting him? He has the skill and pace to get away from most defenders and create needed space. SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
What Salah did in this video is not a fluke. It is the product of hard work. I say this because I’ve seen him make the same move numerous times. He may not score always, but he always tests the goalkeeper. At worst, he misses the goal narrowly. It is one of his signature moves. Even if you wake him up from a deep sleep, he can produce this move almost effortlessly. That is the result of hard work and practice.
It is up to Chukwueze to put in the necessary work to join the best in the world.
When he starts producing like Salah did in this video, his market value will go through the roof. The biggest clubs in the world will come calling.

we also have a Nigerian playing in the Portuguese league Abbas Ibrahim of Paccos Ferreira.

  • Yeah Abbas Ibrahim. I just watched his video clip. He is a central midfielder. The young man looks good. Good passes, ball control, defensive abilities and the occasional shots on target look good as well. He just needs to be discovered and encouraged. He is still young. Might take him a little time to get noticed but I hope not for his sake.
