Brighton boss Graham Potter is keen to sign striker Oliver McBurnie from former club Swansea this summer.
Potter left the Swans for Albion earlier this week following Chris Hughton’s sacking.
The 44-year-old has played down talk of a major overhaul of the Seagulls squad but he is still keen to bring in a few new faces during the summer transfer window.
Swansea’s Daniel James had been considered a target but Manchester United appear to have won the race for the Wales international’s signature, but Potter could still raid the Liberty Stadium for McBurnie.

Scotland international McBurnie managed 24 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions last season and it has been claimed a £12million offer would be enough to convince Swansea to sell.
Albion may face competition from promoted Sheffield United for the 22-year-old, but the fact Potter worked with McBurnie last season may hand Brighton the edge in the fight for his signature.
