Premier League: Ighalo In Action As Man United Draw Vs West Ham, Move Into Top Four

Manchester United will have to wait until the final day of the Premier League season to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League after they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Former Nigeria international Odion Ighalo, who is yet to score for United in the Premier League, featured against West Ham after replacing Marcus Rashford on 85 minutes.

Michail Antonio put West Ham ahead from the penalty spot in two minutes of first half added time after a handball by Paul Pogba following consultation with VAR.

But in the 51st minute Mason Greenwood drew United level after good interchange of passes inside the West Ham box.

The draw saw United climb temporarily to third position on 63 points and need at least a point against Leicester City at the weekend to be in the Champions League next season.

For West Ham, they will be playing Premier League football next season as they are 15th on 38 points, four points away from the relegation spot.
