Chelsea could face a battle to keep Willian at the club following reports Paris Saint- Germain are lining up a summer swoop. The 30-year-old has 18 months remaining on his current contract at Stamford Bridge, but talks have been underway to secure his future by getting him tied down to a new one.
That is easier said than done with Chelsea reluctant to offer more than one-year extensions to players over 30, and PSG are said to be watching developments closely.
The Parisians were said to be keen on deal during the January transfer window after losing Neymar to injury, but Chelsea were unwilling to do a deal.
However with doubts surrounding the long-term future of Neymar, Willian remains a target for the French champions, who could make a fresh approach in the summer.
Willian is waiting to see if Chelsea will offer him a long-term deal. If not there is a chance he could push for a move to Paris at the end of the campaign.
