Arsenal are exploring the possibility of a summer transfer for Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Mirror reports.
According to The Independent, the Gunners are expected to undergo a significant squad overhaul this season, with Kvaratskhelia emerging as a key target.
The 25-year-old only moved to PSG in January 2024 for £59million, but it’s now reported that his camp would actually be open to a move.
His current club, however, is unlikely to share this view, given his crucial role and the fact that the winger is seen as the gem of their ongoing project.
Meanwhile, in north London, the sale of a senior player is being seriously considered, with Arsenal aiming to sanction sales this summer. This would provide the club with more flexibility in light of the Premier League’s change in financial regulations to Squad Cost Ratio.

Despite this, Arsenal seem set to splash out this summer, with Kvaratskhelia an offensive addition that would instantly elevate Mikel Arteta’s squad.
However, a deal seems highly complicated with the Georgian still having three years left on his contract. Although his representatives haven’t ruled out a transfer, PSG are unlikely to consider a departure unless substantial funds are offered.
Luis Enrique’s team knocked out Arsenal on their journey to clinching the Champions League last season, with both clubs in the quarter-finals this time around, and the two sides could potentially face off in the final.
