Rangers Fans Hail Aribo As Club’s Driving Force Vs St. Johnstone

Nigeria international, Joe Arobo has been hailed by Rangers supporters as the club’s driving force following the midfielder’s wonderful performance against St. Johnstone.

Aribo netted his tenth overall goal in 52 appearances in all competitions for Rangers in their 3-0 spanking of St. Johnstone in Wednesday’s Scottish Premier League match.
The 24-year-old had actually fired blanks in the Gers’ opening two matches which saw Rangers beat Aberdeen 1-0 away while thumping St Mirren 3-0 at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday.
Aribo opened his goal account for the 2020/21 topflight term by scoring in the 49th minute off an assist from James Tavernier to put Rangers 3-0 up against St. Johnstone.
Borna Barisic had opened scoring for Steven Gerrard’s side on 21 minutes while he became the assist provider for Ryan Kent to score the Gers’ second goal of the night on 40 minutes.

Aribo had earlier on also played a huge part in the second goal. It was his midfield-splitting pass that found Ianis Hagi before Barisic was played in down the left flank.

Rangers sent themselves to the top of the Scottish Premiership with the emphatic 3-0 win over St Johnstone at Ibrox and a host of fans were left lauding the performance of Aribo.
Some of the fans reacted on Twitter and they arenow confident the 24- year-old is about to enjoy a breakout year for the Gers.

Aribo who joined Rangers from Charlton Athletic in the summer window of last year netted nine goals and made eight assists in 49 games overall during the 2019/20 season.
