Rangers Goalie Bonsu Makes CAFCC Group Stage Best Eleven

Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Nana Bonsu has been named in the CAF Confederations best X1 for the group stages of the competition, reports Completesports.com.

Etoile Du Sahel and Zamalek have the highest number of players in the list with two players each.

Karim Aouadah and Wadji Kechrid made the shortlist from Etoile Du Sahel while Tarek Hamed and Abdallah Gomaa of Zamalek SC are also included.

Despite keeping one clean sheet in the group stages of the competition for Rangers, Bonsu led the way with his outstanding saves as the Flying Antelopes finished third in Group B behind CS Sfaxien and Etoile Du Sahel.

Etoile Du Sahel’s Wadji Kechrid, Issoufou Dayo of RS Berkane, Nassim Hnid of CS Sfaxien and Zamalek SC’s Abdallah Gomaa make up the defence.

Tarek Hamed of Zamalek SC, Mehdi Oubilla of Hassania Agadir and Karim Aouadah of Etoile du Sahel are in the midfield.

The front line includes the trio of Jacques Tuyisenge from Gor Mahaia FC, Kodji Fo Doh Laba of RS Berkane and Waleed Bakhet of Al Hilal of Sudan.

Rangers will face Sunshine Stars at ‘The Cathedral’, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in their next Nigeria Professional Football League fixture.
