Ranieri: Dennis Can Play For Premier League Top Teams

Watford manager Claudio Ranieri says forward Emmanuel Dennis is good enough to play for the big teams in the English Premier League.

The Nigeria international has been one of the standout players of the season up to this point, with six goals and five assists in 14 league appearances.

Dennis has also scored against the likes of Manchester United, Leicester City and Chelsea.

“I think he could play for these big teams,” Ranieri told SkySports.

“He must continue to improve and I speak a lot with him. I’m sure at the end of the season he can go into the big teams – but also he can stay in Watford!

“I’m impressed a lot with his performances.

“He’s very fast, he scores goals and makes a lot of assists for us. I hope he can continue in this way. He’s young and can score goals.

“I love this kind of player [who can play on either wing or through the middle], universal players, so I can change during the match some position from him, King, Cucho… with a lot of players in front. For me, that’s very good.”

Dennis will be in action when Watford take on Brentford on Friday (today).

  • He is good enough to play for the top teams in EPL and Europe but he is not good enough to play for SE…..SMH

The usual question by Rohr worshippers on CSN… Who is Dennis Emmanuel going to bench in Super Eagles? Even Ahmed Musa has scored four world cup goals… we trust Musa better than Dennis! Lol…

It’s easy for you guys to be talking yab….. yab….. yab…… about every player that is hugging the headlines for a moment. The SE Technical team including the coaches knows what they want in each and every player and will do the right thing at the right time which includes talking to the players in question and seeing if he can key into their program

If you guys know better than the coach and the entire technical team then you should send your CV and application letter to NFF for consideration instead of talking cheap here.

The coach and his team has a first hand interactions with these players during training and off pitch during their camping and will be in the best position to decide who gets invited and who plays in a match. After all it’s their job and daily meal that is on line and not yours, they get fired for poor result but you go on with your life, so why won’t they play the guys that will give them the best results?

For instance, if Rohr has been allowed to carry out his disciplinary action on the Sex party trio during our last match with Cape Verde without the reason leaking out to the press. And on the match day squad list Iheanacho, Awaziem and Omeruo was totally missing, you guys will cry blood criticising Rohr to high heavens without knowing the reason for such actions.

All these players are in the 40 man list for the AFCON camping so let’s wait and see how it goes in the camp come January.
Dennis is good but he is not the best thing to have come out of Nigeria in the recent time

        • How many trophies has all the knowledge the coaches and technical team possess brought into the cabinet?…..I hope it brings the Afcon home this time around…… Because SE has the talent it needs to dominate Africa.

Ask yourself how many winnable Tournament have they been to? The answer is: One

And he won Bronze and brought it into the Cabinet

The have performed very well in all the other competitions they had participated in, namely 4 major Qualifiers and they topped their group in all these with games to spare
