Real Madrid Identify Ndidi As Casemiro Replacement

Real Madrid are eyeing Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as a replacement for Casemiro.

Casemiro has been linked with a move to European champions Chelsea and Real Madrid are reportedly willling to allow him move to Stamford Bridge for the right price.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be a keen admirer of Ndidi, having watched the Nigerian on a regular basis during his time in charge of Everton.

The 24-year-old has emerged one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League since his arrival from Belgian club KRC Genk in January 2017.

The Leicester star has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in the past.

However, according to El Nacional, Real Madrid are the favourites to sign the midfielder amid suggestions that he is keen to leave the Foxes due to their struggles during the 2021-22 campaign.

Ndidi has a contract with Brendan Rodgers’ side until June 2024.

  • Yes, Yes, Yes. He should move to Madrid. Hala Madrid. He will be the first Nigerian to wear their jersey. That is nothing but progress. With constant guarantee to play in UEFA Champions League, year in year out.

Mutiu Adepoju is actually the first man to play for real Madrid. Just that he didn’t last long . Ndidi is a great player and I wish him the best .

Good one to know that you are attracting attention from the biggest club in the world. With the situation of iheanacho and Rogers now, I don’t know if even Norwich will come for him. Always on the bench. Don’t know what iheanacho has done to him to deserve such a treatment.sometimes I feel like crying seeing him on the bench. So please Ndidi maybe you will stylishly ask iheanacho if he has ever made passes at rogers girlfriend. Because I know say senior man na heavy play boi..Maybe that’s where the problem started from..let’s get to the root of the matter so we can resolve it once and for all.

  • Leave now while your still hot and in demand. You have out grown Leicester city. The team keeps churning out poor performances this season despite the calibre of players that are within their ranks. I think its the coach. But all the same, Spain will be good for Ndidi. He is tough enough for any league in the world.

  • Dennis on target again, against Brentford. This guy is really making a case for himself to be in Cameroon next month. Hope he makes the list of players to afcon and also gets to play with the team in a more than cameo role. Also hope he clicks with the team.
I can see him in a lineup of:

    OKOYE

    AWAZIEM AKPOGUMA. LEON. AINA

    NDIDI. FRANK.

    DENNIS. ARIBO. V.MOSES(EJUKE)

    DESSERS/AWONIYI

But I doubt coach Rohr will ever consider such a lineup, not with players like musa, simon, iwobi, collins, ighalo and ekong firmly on his mind
