Sulaiman Folarin, Assistant Coach of Remo Star, was delighted his side preserved and extended their unbeaten run against Enyimba to five games on the bounce, Completesports.com reports.
According to Folarin, the Sky Blues ‘hardly lose games’ on good pitches like the Enyimba International Stadium turf, Aba.
Folarin stood in for his absent head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, who’s with the Super Eagles in the capacity of Assistant Coach To Augustine Eguavoen.
He said their mission to Aba was to pluck all three points but eventually had to make do with a point.
He added that Remo Stars had lost to Enyimba in Aba only once in six visits.

“We actually came to Aba for a win and we knew that Enyimba love playing from the back,” starts the stand-in Remo Stars gaffer.
“Remo Stars, as a club, hardly lose on any good pitch like the one here in Aba and we enjoy playing on such pitches like what we have at our home ground.
“I must say it’s a good game with both sides coming out to play good football. The last time we lost in Aba was about six games back. It was during our first visit here as a Premiership club.”
Remo Stars are still sitting top of the log with 22 points and will welcome second placed Rivers Utd in a Match Day 12 tie at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikene, Ogun State.
