Bernd Ritthammer and Robert MacIntyre share a one-shot lead on -9 with just one round to go at the European Open. Germany’s Ritthammer, 32, has yet to win a European Tour event but has given himself an excellent chance with a third-round, two-under-par 70 on Saturday. He will be in the final pair alongside Scotland’s MacIntyre, who blew the chance to lead outright with a two-over-par 74 at Green Eagle Golf Courses.
Paul Casey roared back to form following Friday’s disappointing 73, with a three-under-par 69 seeing the Englishman sit third on -8, with Spain’s Pablo Larrazabal and Mathias Schwab of Austria tied for fourth on seven-under. England’s Ben Evans has sole possession of sixth after reaching -6 while Denmark’s Jeff Winther and Guido Migliozzi of Italy are a further shot back.
