Rocky To Learn The Ropes With Seasiders

Recent Canaries signing Rocky Bushiri has joined League One outfit Blackpool on a season-long loan deal. The 19-year-old defender signed a four-year deal with City earlier this summer when he moved to Carrow Road from Belgian top-flight club Oostende.

He made 33 appearances on loan at second division K.A.S. Eupen last term and has recently been at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with the young Belgian squad. Bushiri said: “I’m happy to be here because it’s a club with ambitions to grow with a new manager.

I’ve never played in England and I want to get experience by coming here on loan. I’ve been training for five weeks with Norwich and I feel ready to play.” Bushiri becomes the second Canaries player to head to Bloomfield Road this summer after James Husband signed for the League One side on a season-long loan last week. However, as the 25-year-old’s City contract is due to expire next summer, that means it’s highly unlikely Husband will ever feature for the Canaries again.
