  • But come oo Eze has not been included in England Euro Squad, Ademola Lookman is just sitting at home. Is this not the time for the NFF to use their wits to convince these players, using the snubbed scenario by England as a tool to get them in.

I mean these friendlies would have been prime and perfect scenario to blend them in to our cause.. What is going on with NFF and FIFA why is this switch taking so long somebody please tell me. BIKO

You should have also extended invitation to DESSERS and EJUKE too.

      • Why not after all they are better than this Onovo of a character. Ejuke and dessers are playing in better leagues than this guy.

I saw Onovo’s highlight reel and can say Dessers and Ejuke are better than him hoha

I mean must we go to every obscure league in Europe??. If we can’t find players plying there trade in top leagues then it is only right to look at the NPFL all these non entities from every tom dick and harry league in Europe is becoming too much now. abeg.

After all I am sure the top 6- 10 palyers in our clubs in NPFL can do well against some of these obscure leagues in Europe abeg. I don’t know anymore

        • EZOMO 3 years ago

So why are they finding it difficult to even get to Quater final of caf champion league? For more than 5 years now , forget nothing dey our league

Let’s learn how to respect people’s opinion, eze ,adarabioyo etc have made it clear they don’t want to play for us,I know that Nigeria is a begerly nation, always begging for help from other countries,we must not be like our leaders ,let’s have some pride.is EZE the best player in the world? Why is he not in the English national team if he is that good.how exactly did he help his club and what did he help his club achieve.talk.lets move on from eze and co pls

      • Baba na baba 3 years ago

The coach just give these newly invited players very litle time,as if he doesn’t want them to prove themselves and bench his regulars, look at dessers, ejuke, how many minute did they play?where are they today, next is Marcus, moffi and other new guys in camp currently.

    • yes is true you talk they should leave all thes british butter alone,if they want to play for nigeria they will come Niija is bigger than anybody.

    • Omotayo Maraiyesa 3 years ago

For Eze, he has subtly informed NFF that he prefers England team. He’s played for English U-23 team after he rejected calls from Super Eagles. Moreso, he’s injured and won’t be able to play football until next year February, 2022.

      • Omotayo Maraiyesa 3 years ago

He can also add Michael Olise, Maduekwe Noni and Ejaria Obie. All of these guys are very good players and they have shown interest in playing for Nigeria.

  • okay Eze is injured from what I gather however Ademola lookman should have been convinced by now what is the story on him. @CSN Give us news on serious quality players that are still interested in our cause abeg

  • Michel 3 years ago

I hope that rohr will play all these people ,we want to see the new players and see how good or bad they are.

  • Mutum 3 years ago

Confused coach..he keeps inviting them only to hand 5 minutes cameo appearance. Start with Marcos lests see wot he got.

  • Chima E Samuels 3 years ago

Coach who invites players that doesn’t get quality minutes to express themselves just because he is scared to loose, Las Las he loses. If he doesn’t have the confidence to invite these guys and play them, why then invite and bench them for 80mins when this is just a friendly?
We have a time bomb in the wait!

  • Chima E Samuels 3 years ago

Just gone through his highlight I must admit this is another average player with nothing special. I wonder why he continues to over look Nwobodo and Alhassan na wa for this Rohr.

    • @Chima the guy doesn’t spark anything in me, very average indeed. I think Rohr is running out of options due to all the pull outs of regulars

      • Chima E Samuels 3 years ago

He is a typical home base kind of player… This guy is just wacky, I feel like we are going backwards again when he should be inviting exciting talents. When I see what the Senegal coach or Algeria coach is doing I feel jealous! Ivory Coast coach is also inviting interesting talents like Boga from Sassuolo yet we have this one depleting our team with every opportunity he has. How on earth can we move forward? Ejuke is not even in this team it makes me wonder what the hell is going on? We are creating a boring team instead of exciting team.

  • JimmyBall 3 years ago

If Rohr was looking for playmakers why not call Atienwem Iyayi of Dinamo Zagreb? There is also
Kingsley Michael of Bologna… but if not for
injury he claimed to have sustained, Samson Tijani would have been okay also… don’t know who is pointing Rohr to all these unknown players… Well, make we see as things go playout!

  • Hello my fellow nigerians I will keep saying the truth. We dont have a coach Gr is not up to super eagles class no club side in Nigeria will employ him as a coach.l wonder why some people are clamouring for him to continue.i can never soupprt a coach that can not bring something positive to our national team.he is a disgrace.shame to nff for employing such a coach.

  • Patrick 3 years ago

One of the attributes of a good coach is self confidence. Successful coaches such as Guardiola of Manchester city and Chelsea coach exhibited this quality during premiership competition and European champions league. If you want to win major competitions you must possess this quality. Rhor lacked this quality. He is also too rigid. We have the players but our coach cannot win major competitions because he is inept.

  • Set awon Anti Rohr having fun, continue killing yourselves there, the man will see out his contract.. Yeye people

Ola you’re a typical example of Lagos hoodlums, by your slangs i know your kinds under-bridge. No wonder you lack insight, if only you had a proper upbringing and decent education then you’ll know the difference between your left from right SMH!!! Shame on you for thinking who ever addresses Nigerian football is an hater.

      • Hahaha, see educationist oo professional idiots that rubbish someone old enough to be his father for simply doing his job the ways he knows best.

If he didn’t invite players, you will cry, if he does u will still cry, if he wins, you will say na luck, if he loose, same set of idiots will still complain, what is your problem? His contract only runs out next year allow him to do his work. And it’s people like you that have nothing upstairs, you only specialize in condemning people no matter how right they are.

And you are good at teaming up with failures, see your life.

  • Olusegun.B. 3 years ago

I don’t get it at all. Lookmam , Nnwankali,Echaria and Olise and perhaps Eze have not been included to the squad. I don’t understand what’s going on. Although Nnwankali should be granted chance since he is a free kick specialist and also can perform as a number 10, the issue of the English 3 makes me wonder why is NFF as well FIFA delaying the switch . Time will tell.
Rohr is really something else, he had to call a guy who’s playing for an unknown club . Really !

    • Mr. Nice 3 years ago

When last did Nwakali scored a free kick, please educate us!

  • Omo9ja 3 years ago

Confusion every where. NFF, see where you brought Nigeria to?

We have a well established, intelligent, smart and skillful Kelechi Nwakali available for tomorrow’s match but our world class coach called unknown player to camp.

How many freekicks we had against the Cameroonian team on Friday?

How many of the freekicks our players scored on that day?

Still, you invited another player while Nwakali and Dessers can come in and do wonders?

Ahhhhh, 9ja for show indeed. I am shaking my head for you NFF President. This is a big shame that we have gold at home but we are seeking for Silver outside. Does that make sense at all?

A word is enough for the wise. Fingers crossed. God bless Nigeria!!!

It’s partly problem of inferiority complex, keshi gave us afcon, and decent WC outing,if rohr had done that within 5years he’d been here, his supporters would ask that statues be erected for him near aso rock. You judge a coach by how well he has maintained your teams reputation, perhaps making you even much more competitive. Has this coach ticked all the above boxes? He even came third during his eagles job interview, look at how Napoli fired gatuso, though they didn’t do too badly, here, they keep telling us he’s the best thing to ever happen to our sporting culture

  • Those people crying and weeping for EZE to be invited are the ones that use to carry last position in their high school days….
They rarely listen to what their teachers teaches….

This young man is not ready to dump his country of birth for any reason, infact Eze even made it so clear that he’s for England not Nigeria…..
Then why should a reasonable person keep crying over spoiled milk????

Please u people should eat your shame alone, don’t mention the name of my lovely country Nigeria.

A player that England don’t even see as good enough to sit on their bench is what u people are crying for….

How many important games has he influence in the EPL?

What has he done special that OUR CHUKWUEZE hasn’t done??

Whenever CHUKWUEZE faces BARCELONA/MADRID, he is always the key man that defenders from both teams want to neutralize but fail…

U people’s world best EZE always get Lost against big boys like CHELSEA, MAN.U, MAN CITY, LIVERPOOL etc….

    Spare me this rubbish joor….

    EZE this….. EZE that…
Eze bla bla bla bla bla….

We should be crying over SAKA that never rejected his origin and not a little boy that openly disgraced his people and yet u people will not allow us hear something good…

    LUBBISH…..

Let’s concentrate with those on ground and leave those that are not ready to represent us go their way….

Let’s learn to respect our foreign born’s opinions please….
    They are entitled to it….

It’s funny how people criticize without getting their facts right.
Nwakali, Dessers, Ejuke etc are available but Rohr didn’t call them bla bla bla.

So since the regulars pulled out of the friendlies, other guys from Spain, Belgium ,Italy et al will conjure Austrian visa from their bedrooms within 24hrs and land in Austria abi?

You may want to check the countries where the latest invitees play and the proximity of these countries to SE’s base camp in Austria and then you will understand the reason for their invitations while appreciating the NFF & Rohr for still creating solutions rather than cancelling the friendlies and incurring more losses.

All those names you guys are brandishing up there cannot make it to Austria in good time. These things aren’t automatic, they require proper planning.

My brothers this is a simple case of the desirable not available and deciding to deploy the available.

    • Chima E Samuels 3 years ago

Has he played all the ones he called to the camp? Fear fear coach….

  • I don’t know much about this Vincent onovo but I hope he isnt another player that will come and make the numbers on the bench. There are players out there that without saying much, its obvious that they can add something to the team but if they are invited they play 5mins or they are benched or they are not invited at all. I wonder what the super eagles scouting team are doing that they cant recommend players like nwobodo, alhassan and the resurgent nwaikaili to coach rohr instead its onovo whom no one really knows that gets a call up. I wish it were possible to bench a coach and allow another coach to take over for a while. I would have recommended that coach rohr be benched for ammunike or egbo lets see if they can do better. But that won’t happen. Its so sad when an obviously good player is ignored for someone who doesn’t have much to offer. Lets see how tomorrow will go.

  • Ayphillydegreat 3 years ago

They are all trying to crucify the coach because of a friendly match yet they claim a bronze medal after not qualifying for two consecutive AFCONS is not acceptable Lmao!!! Confused set of humans.

    • Chima E Samuels 3 years ago

What is happening to the gold? Are we scarce of talent to win gold? Yet we see everyday super eagles players are painting Europe with goals week by week. LMAO…..Keep the excuses coming Rohr assleakers!

      • …Yet we see everyday super eagles players are painting Europe with goals week by week…..

Ever since they have been painting Europe with goals how many UCL, EPL, LALIGA, SERIE A,LIGUE 1, BUNDESLIGA have they won apart from NDIDI, NACHO & CHUKWUEZE that luck just decided to do them favour this year?

        UNA NO DEY SHAME. me????

The MANEs, the SALAHs, the KEITAs, the MENDYs, ZIYECH that plays for elite teams & won UCL have 4 legs right….

The Marhez that hardly go trophiless in almost all season, how about HAKIMI,AUBA & GANA??? They have 6 legs Right???

Una shame dey always shame me…..

Do you know u people are the cause and main problem why our boys aren’t playing in bigger clubs????

We keep hyping them and at the end of the day this boys fizzles out like vapor….

That’s how we keep producing half-baked talent every time…..

If they are what u people think and feel, let them move to bigger clubs and do the needful…..

We need the ETOs,the DROGBAs, the AUBAs, the MANEs, the SALAHs et all in our SE…..
Not all these average and mid-table club players….
