FIFA president Gianni Infantino has said Russia’s ban from football should definitely be lifted.
The country has been banned since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022, but the International Olympic Committee has now recommended that international sports federations admit Russian teams to compete at the youth level.

Reacting to the development, Infantino in an interview with Sky News stated that the decision to suspend the Russians from the competition “has achieved nothing” and “has only generated more disappointment and hatred”.
“We have to, definitely,’ Infantino said when asked about potentially lifting the ban.
“Because this ban has not achieved anything, it has just created more frustration and hatred.
“Having girls and boys from Russia being able to play football games in other parts of Europe would help.”

Mr Infantino, do you value human life? Is it right for a large guy prowling the streets with a heavy club to bring it down on a frail man’s head? Especially, if the latter was going about his business without stirring dust?
Is it right if I knocked you over and took possession of the garment protecting your chest against the elements?
All brutes should return to the forest.
