Russian League: Ejuke’s Goal Not Enough As CSKA Suffer Defeat Again

Chidera Ejuke’s early strike to open his goals account for the season was not enough as, CSKA Moscow lost 2-1 at Dinamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.

Ejuke put CSKA 1-0 ahead just eight minutes into the encounter which they held into the break.

But a brace from Daniil Fomin in the 58th (penalty) and 73rd minutes, subjected CSKA to a second straight defeat in the league.

  • One of the best dribblers to come out this country but greedy agents landed him where he is now…..Ejuke would have easily slotted into Spanish Laliga without issues and Spanish football really suits his style of play but his Nigerian agent had other ideas…..At least he would have moved to a bigger team in the same Holland like PSV Ajax or Feyenoord and he would have been able to fit in there until a bigger leagues club comes for him……I wish all the best at CSKA……this dude is just wasting away in Russia and it’s so painful because Ejuke is too good for Russian league and Russia has just robbed England Spain Itali Germany or France of the privilege of witnessing a magician grace their league…..what a pity.

  • TALK UR OWN 3 years ago

    IT NEVER TOO LATE
HE NEEDS TO HIGHLY IMPROVE HIS GAME TO GET BIGGER EUROPEAN ATTENTION
ALSO, THIS TIME AROUND HE NEED TO DRIBBLE WITH FOCUS AND SCORE MORE GOALS

    • Which focus?….it’s like you don’t watch Ejuke much….he is very clinical in front of goal and has a high goal return for a midfielder….he hit double figures in goals while he was in Holland…..I wonder what happened to him now in Russia…. Russia has a way of stagnating blacks players careers….they hate it when a black player leaves their league to a higher league……and they also have a documented racism issue.

Ejuke my brother, leave Russia league, you can’t improve there

  • Guy calm down. The guy is just been overrated to be sincere. If he is that good at least even if it’s midtable team from those countries you mentioned should have shown interest in signing him. Someone that will just be dribbling aimlessly, that could be the reason why Rohr is not showing much interest in him again. Not saying the guy is not good but he need to up his game most especially that dribbling aspect it look childish

  • Kind of baffles me why this guy and Obinna Nwobodo who’re available for selection but are not getting a look-in. Rate them better than a few invited for the Cameroun friendly. Marcus Abraham too was a great revelation. Players with pure, natural skills like that. Hoping for more surprise inclusions and omissions in the next list. If Ejuke dribbles excessively, that aspect of his game could be polished like Westwrhof did with Okocha.
