Sanches Not Happy At Bayern

Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac has admitted Renato Sanches is not happy with his lack of first-team action at the club.

Kovac says there is little he can do about the situation and has told Sanches to keep working hard despite his frustration at a lack of game-time.

The 21-year-old has been in the starting line-up just six times this season and has had to make do with just minutes on the pitch as a late substitute.

“Renato is not the happiest guy at the moment because he doesn’t play much. But I’ve told him to keep going. He trains well, works hard and is friendly,” Kovac said in an interview with Bild.

“It would be a lot easier if we were ahead by some points. We have to fight. It’s not easy for me. I try to give everyone his time on the pitch.”
