Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says he has been pleasantly surprised by the impact Odion Ighalo has made since his arrival at the club.
Ighalo, 30, was a surprise deadline day arrival at Manchester United and there were doubts about his ability to fit in well at Old Trafford.
The Nigerian has however proved doubters wrong with four goals in eight appearances for the Red Devils.

Scholes admits he was ‘dubious’ when Ighalo arrived on loan from Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua in January.
“You have to say his [Solskjaer] three or four signings have been excellent,’ Scholes told MUTV.
‘I was a little bit dubious about the Ighalo one, I wasn’t quite sure how that would work, but you have to say that’s worked as well. ‘He’s a different kind of player from the players we had, a bit more of a target man which we miss and he seems to have settled in really well, scoring goals.’
Ighalo recently agreed a six-month extension to his loan deal that will see remain with United until January 31, 2021.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
