West Ham Urged To Approach QPR In Swap Deal For Eze

Former Leeds United striker and now pundit Noel Whelan has urged West Ham to try and pull off a swap deal with Queens Park Rangers for exciting midfielder, Eberechi Eze, which would see striker Jordan Hugill go in the other direction.

Eze has been linked with a move away from QPR following interests from Premier League clubs.

His performance for QPR so far this season has been impressive after netting 12 goals provided eight assists in 37 Championship appearances.

And speaking to Football Insider, Whelan said: “I’d like to have Eze on board, I really admire him.  I think he’s a fantastic midfield player.

“He’s very comfortable on the ball, very composed, great engine, gets forward, great f going into that final third, I’ve praised him so much when I’ve been at Leeds and seen him, watched him play and I’ve seen him grow and get better.

“He seems like a great acquisition for the futu to get a player like that on board, because I think he’ll be a fantastic player, I really do. It doesn’ surprise me that clubs like West Ham are looking at him.

“It would be a great swap deal. The clubs will happy with that, he’ll have the opportunity to showcase his ability at the very top level with West Ham.”
