Joe Aribo one of my favourite eagles player, since he made his debut for the national team two years ago.

But despite his impressive form at club side he has not really replicate such blistering form for the super eagles.

Now the question is? what’s the cause of his poor performances when it comes to the super eagles compared to kind of player he is for Rangers. On a personal note i feel that poor pitches in africa football stadiums contribute about 80% of his none impressive display for eagles. While 20% goes to his inability to adapt to africa kind of football, which i know and am pretty sure he definately get used to it as time goes on. But i also feel there is a solution if CAF will take a critical step in sanctioning most african countries who fail to provide qaulity pitches that is good enough to host international matches across africa. Nigeria is not excluded cause the one in lagos that recently hosted the eagles is just 40% completed compared to the kind of stadium we have around the world.

Good talk broda man. All the enemies of progress no longer have access to the Super Eagles. The Ex cricket players and evil agents are shamed. The homebased players are not good for Super Eagles. Simple.

My brother I don’t agree that aribo is having difficult with the pitches; he played in Benin republic. Ogbe stadium, lesotho, Serrie leon and Lagos for me these are fifa approved pitches and they are good for Games, the European pitches are not as perfect as u think my brother , especially scotland and england they also have patches (spaces without grass) in their Fields if you doubt go and observe, the quality of the cameras their using covers those patches during game that if you don’t look deep u won’t observe. For me aribo needs to improve or etebo should take his place, the Scottish league is not as strong as international games and if you noticed you will realized that aribo played against africa opponent that are prepared to defend eagles to draw, giving close marking to eagles players and living them with little or no space, these are tactics aribo needs to get used to not necessarily afro opponent if you play against big teams who are ready to play and also live spaces the you will see the best of aribo because he will be given some freedom to breath, eg ukraine and brazil games. Never the less aribo needs to improve overall if we keep laying excuses for him there we are just being sentimental, bcoz he is not the only player there. You can’t bring a player that is yet to adapt and begin to bench Abdullahi or etebo for him and also ignoring azubuike with the excuses that he is adapting that is favouritism. I like aribo but I know hundred percent he is not a central midfielder and will never be, rohr have to use aribo either to sub iheanacho in a 442 format or to sub chukwuez in a 4 3 3 he can also start before the due, but as a midfielder Abdullahi etebo azubuike azeez are better option to aribo in the midfield.

collins id stop beign sentimental, in the whole of west africa you cannot pick a quailty stadia compared to what we see in europe, the only countries in africa with beeter stadiums are south africa egypt ,morrocco ,tunisia and algeria bad pitches disrupt free flowing football ever uyo stadium is sub standard for me but still d best in nigeria, that is why players find it difficult to play good football especially the one born and lived in europe, tell me which country in africa is ready to host the world cup apart from south africa.

@collins id those pitches you mentioned above are not up to fifa standard when it comes modern day football, i mean why should you even include that of seira leon that’s literally out of it, what were you even thinking? If you claim we have fifa appoved standard pitches then they would have looking at us when it comes to hosting of intenational competition, two years ago we lost hosting right of female under 20 world to costa rica because of sub-standard pitches in nigeria. I just hope things gets better.

Bro. Kano calabar platue delta edo uyo Lagos kaduna aba can bost of FIFA standard stadium, these stadium pitches can go for European champions league, football must not been played on red carpet it can also be played on beach sands field and clay grounds. Europeans play football even in snow white pitches, though I agree we can and should do better but I will never accept that for excuses for players failure, I played football in Italy and germany’ we trained in different kinds of pitches and have also played a match in strange pitches what complaining but what I love Europeans for is that when everything is been equal they don’t complain but we love blaming everything some of us even blaim European good pitches if our boys fails there( some will say they are not used to standard pitches)
