Serbian Cup: Rohr Wishes Sadiq Luck In Final Vs Vojvodina

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has wished Umar Sadiq the best in today’s Serbian Cup final between his club Partizan Belgrade and Vojvodina Novi Sad, reports Completesports.com.

Sadiq was in fine form as Partizan edged out city rivals Red Star Belgrade 1-0 in the semi-final.

The 23-year-old not only bagged an assist in the game but also terrorised the opposing defenders for the entire 90 minutes.

Your SE dream becoming a reality. Definitely got the talent to be in the mix. Good luck broda man Sadiq.

    • Oakfield 4 years ago

I’m telling you. He’s definitely gotten rohrs attention and recognition. His invitation to the SE is just finger tips away…..

    • Pompei 4 years ago

We all knew that Rohr was going to be looking in his direction, with his recent form. Will a hungry lion turn away from fresh meat?.
Sadiq definitely will add quality to the team. His style of play, and his hunger for goals, the guy is talented, for sure. With him, Osimhen, Dessers, and our abundance of fast paced, skillful wingers, our attack is looking so good!

  • GLORY 4 years ago

To be honest @ Oakfield, I personally would have loved to have him on long time ago. But Rohrs decision has to be respected, my confidence in what Rohr is doing with our SE is 100%. Everyone has a right to express certain misgivings but I see a massive clapping of hands at the end for Rohr.

  • Omo9ja 4 years ago

Hmm. We are started again. This is what we said when Onuachu. The guy is always hurt at his club side scoring goals for fun but when he comes to the national team, he will turns to kerewa, kerewawa player.

Is any assurance that the gaffer will use Sadiq to favor the Eagles pattern?

How about Onyekuru? We are watching o. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • GLORY 4 years ago

Hahahaha… Baba oo Omonija. Kerewa kerewawa.. funny man.

    • Dr. Drey 4 years ago

Your Onuachu whom you “discovered” cannot even trap ball or hold up aerial balls in the National team….LMAO. Maybe it is Rohr that will teach him those ones too. Against Burundi he went missing. He was brought on against Guinea and our entire frontline collapsed….same thing against Cameroon. Against Brazil, the ball was controlling Onuachu instead of Onuachu controlling the ball. Even you who claimed you discovered him promptly deleted his name from your list of discoveries…LMAO. Pls help us tell him he has wasted his own opportunity in the team. Umar is here now. Even Simy Nwankwo was doing a better job as a bean-pole target man.

Getting invited sometimes is not the problem with Rohr but will he have game time?

This is where I do have issues with the gaffer, he should take his time to study a player doing well in clubs to see if the said player can fit in to the team before inviting.
We should remember that Dennis is yet to be given his own chance.

    • Pompei 4 years ago

The problem Dennis has is that as he is primarily a right winger, his main competition in the team is Chukwueze. Even on the left wing, he faces stiff competition. All he can do for now is keep performing well at club level so the national team invitation remains intact. His opportunity on the pitch will eventually come.
Dennis can also play the center forward role, so his versatility is a big plus.

@omo9ja and @drey, both of you can kill someone’s carrier under 5 minutes, was it not both of you that discovered Onuachu?. Do both of you remember the kind of praises you heaped on him after he scored against Egypt, even advising Rohr to bench ighalo for him. Now he is dancing kerewa kerewawa inside field. Lmao!!!. Even @drdrey said ball was trapping Onuachu against Brazil. Was Onuachu invited against Brazil?. Did he play against Brazil?. Talent hunters, kerewawa dancers!.

Oga Barth. Seems you have joined the Lairs gang on this forum too. When have you ever read me praise Onuachu or claim I discovered him…??? LMAO. Even when he scored against Egypt, I never praised him, because know way more than praising a player after one match.

The fact that you dont even know that Onuachu was invited and even played against Brazil shows how much ignorance surrounds you. Thank God CSN does not delete comments…below are links to the comments that followed our match against egypt.

@Barth, “@omo9ja and @drey, both of you can kill someone’s carrier under 5 minutes, was it not both of you that discovered Onuachu?. Do both of you remember the kind of praises you heaped on him after he scored against Egypt, even advising Rohr to bench ighalo for him. Now he is dancing kerewa kerewawa inside field. Lmao!!!”.

Ahahah, ahhhhh. This Mr. Barth is very funny o no be small lolz.

I never denied that Mr. Barth. I’m one of those clamoring for Onuachu and I didn’t regret that because coach Rohr didn’t study the striker well.

He doesn’t know when or where to use Onuachu. Onuachu is a fantastic striker but whenever is on duty in the national team, Onuachu has never reaching his potentials.

Why? What happened? That is the responsibility of the coach.

You said I can kill someone’s carrier within 5 minutes. Hmm. Is that not interesting ba?That is not me. I always in support of good things. I have bn calling coach Rohr’s attention on Onuachu over a decade and I’m still in love with the striker because I know what he’s capable of doing.

The failure of Onuachu in the national team is based on lack of creativity in the Super Eagles. Eagles needed a “playmaker” and I’m so glad that I have “discovered” a player in that rule for coach Rohr which happens to be “Ejaria” which Eagles have been lacking for so long.

That Ejaria will make Super Eagles stronger if Oga Rohr believe in him. I hope the coach will not put him on the bench in the end but if that happens, Oga Rohr should not worth to be Eagles coach. The combinations of Azeez, Ejaria,Aribo,Etobo,Dessers,Onuachu, Onyekuru,Sadiq,Musa,Uzoho,Osage,Okoye and Alanpasun should make Nigeria win the next Afcon with a bit of luck and go all the way to compete with the best at the world cup and even win the championship.

With God and proper planning in place, this our current team can win both Afcon and world cup.

Do we think Oga Rohr is confident enough to have this kind of belief I’m having on this team?

Nonetheless, a tall striker can never be functioning properly if the wingers can not providing balls through the wings and in the middle.

Dessers will also making Onuachu and Sadiq functioning well in the front. Mark my words guys, the current team of ours needed an expert to compliments Oga Rohr’s efforts.

If you remember Finidi, Garba Lawal and Tijani Babangida were really good doing the long crossing for Agali to score goals.

Same thing with Peter Crouch of England. His team mates provided assistance and he finished the work.

I am not seeing that in the Super Eagles team. No freekicks specialists, corner kicks specialists and penalty specialists. We can see now that the gaffer still have a work to do.

However, don’t mind that Drey. Like he claims, he said he likes cold drinks like beer when watching football if I’m notmistaken lolz. Maybe, he doesn’t remembered what he said because when he had his cold stuffs ahahahaha.

It is good to catch fun once in a while with ourselves now. Abi no be so ni?

Ah, asonto and kerewa, kerewawa dance sweet wela but I am begging the gaffer of the team to have a rethink and turning the dancing scenes into scoring modes so that Super Eagles of Nigeria will make us proud again in Africa and at the international stage. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

Garbage!….I’m sure you are good at something else.

Hahahaha…Omo9ja don open mouth again o…LMAO. He has been calling coach Rohr’s attention on Onuachu over a decade…LMAO. Abeg is it even up to 5 years Rohr was employed as SE coach…?? 26 year old Onuachu’s professional career is not even up to 10 years yet, but Omo9ja has been calling Rohr’s attention to onuachu since he was 16 years old (over a decade ago)…LMAO.
Even if the devil repents and stop being the father of lies, some people can never quit telling fat lies.
The rat poison omo9ja smokes must be the one talking.

These are the links to comments made in the wake of onuachu’s debut. click them and read and lets see who forgets things because they are drunk.

When onuachu plays well, it is omo9ja, when he does not. it is Rohr….LMAO.

Better tell onuachu to seize his opportunity now or forget SE forever. Nobody has time to teach people how to control balls in the national team.
