You are right and wrong the aftermath of the game will decide if it was right for him to honor the invitation.

Osimhen keeps getting attacked, on the 68 minute when he got fouled mancicni literally kicked out on him and gave him the benefit of the doubt.

On the 78 minute Osimhen was begging for the ball in the box you can
literally see his hands asking, but it was passed to mario which sent the ball out.

On the 91 minute mancini again fouled Osimhen
and Osimhen retaliated and got a yellow card, it was a second instance where mancini was not booked

There is some kind of plot on Osimhen at that club… it is like some team mates want to make things hard for him… I saw an instance when he was begging for the ball and the team mate could have released him… there is no way some do not jealous and resent the hefty fee paid to sign him and possibly how much he is earning annually… something is definitely not right about his acceptance in that group!

I have been noticing it for some time now that some players in his club don’t like giving him ball when he is free to score and even when he scores the don’t go and congratulate him. Some thing is not right with his team mates against him

  • All those selfish style of play will soon fade out of Napoli when another coach assume the leadership seat of that club at the beginning of new season. I have never seen a club where wingers and midfielders including captain insigne most especially, will always want to score at all times even when the chance to do that is 0.5% rather than passing the ball to main striker whose position at the same time could have put the scoring chance at 99.5%.

It is funny how you guys tends to make excuses for osihmen when he is not scoring but will be quick to castigate onuachu when he doesnt score for the national team, lets all try to be fair to these players.when they say onuachu should adapt to super eagles style to play, why is nobody saying osihmen should also adapt to the kind of football napoli plays, afterall, both players do not get the kind of service they need from their team mates.Nobody should insult me o….i am entitled to my opinion.

@Projeff, the comparison is waaay off the mark. We are Nigerians & are concerned with the national team. Some players are more effective for their national team than their club, Iwobi is a prime example together with Osimhen. Onuachu is near useless when playing for the national team. He has played 12 times, not once & apart from his debut has been piss poor in the other 11 occasions. Osimhen yes has not been scoring regularly but he is effecting games for his club. Keeps oppositing honest when they keep a high defensive line. He also creates space by his runs for his team mates to score. Onuachu on the otherhand does NONE OF THAT on the flip side for Nigeria. It always seems we are short one player when he’s playing. Do u recall that going into 2019 AFCON, he was our no1 striker & Ighalo was no2, Osimhen no3? What happened, he was struggling against Burundi for over 60 mins, then Rohr changed him with Ighalo, 5 mins later Ighalo scores, then goes on to be tournaments top scorer. We all saw Onuachu against Algeria & Sierra Leone recently. How many chances does this guy need where the others Osimhen, Iwobi, Iheanacho, Chukwueze, etc are delivering. If you were the coach what will you do.

    • Oil they your head bro. I said this same thing sometime ago, Nigerians will love you to the moon if they like you and nothing you gonna do that will satisfy them if they despise or hate you, I just don’t get why his team mates will intentionally not pass the ball to him though, this are professional players and they all working towards same goal for the betterment of the team and the fans, VO is out of form presently which is understandable due to the length of injury and been in a new environ but using baseless excuses to justify that is unacceptable Pls.
