SERIE A: Osimhen Scores Again As Napoli Thrash Udinese 4-0

Victor Osimhen was on target again as he scored his first Serie A goal this season in Napoli’s 4-0 whitewash of Udinese away on Monday, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen opened his goals account for the campaign when he scored the two goals which saw Napoli come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Leicester, in Thursday’s Europa League.

The Super Eagles striker then followed it up by once again getting on the score sheet when he put Napoli 1-0 ahead on 24 minutes.

Napoli skipper Lorenzo Insigne sprinted down the left flank and beat Marco Silvestri with a lob, but Osimhen helped it in, touching the ball just before it crossed the line to his side ahead.

The other scorers for Napoli are Amir Rrahmani (35th minute), Kalidou Koulibaly (52nd minute) and Hirving Lozano  (84th minute).

After an impressive performance, Osimhen was replaced in the 81st minute for Andrea Petagna.

It is now four wins out of four Serie A games played so far this season for Napoli which place them in first position in the league table.

I watched it live. I’m worried why insignie does not like passing to Osihmen even if he is better positioned to score. Except the coach caution insignie about his selfish attitude Osimhem might not score many goals.

Seriously, the thing tire me. Oshimen was in a better position to have scored that goal easily but still, that Insigne guy go dey do like small god. It was really cool how Oshimen troubled the defense of the Udinese all through before he was subbed.

His holdup play, and ball control have all immensely improved. There is yet to see from this guy, him be like onions

I also watched the match, I wonder how you want Insigne to pass the ball to the striker Osimhen that is usually surrounded by at least 2 or 3 defenders. The only way Osimhen can get quality supply from the other players is if he continues to create space for himself!

I thought I was the only one noticing this,I have always said that insigne is a selfish player, given the right passes Victor Osimhen has the quality to finish as Seria A highest goal scorer this season

Not only to Osimhen, he doesnt like passing to anybody. He has a very sickening attitude and i wont be surprised if he is not in good terms with most of his team mates. He has this very funny disposition on the pitch that is very annoying. I pray the coaches talk to him or he will rob them of many chances. He doesnt show himself to be a likeable person at all.

I just happy say Osimhen steal the yeye Insigne goal. That serves him right since he has refused to give assist. The mad captain was very sad about that. Toor

I just wish him an injury free season. Napoli fans are already dreaming and to be honest they look good for the Scudetto this season. Juventus team is currently dejected since Ronaldo left. They have to start rebuilding again and it will take time. Inter and Roma will be Napoli’s biggest threat this season and Osimhen will have a say in that run. That’s when the world will notice. I hope Napoli don’t play any politics to withhold him for the AFCON because that’s where it will all begin.
