Simon Faces Tough Test As Barca Host Levante Tonight; Omeruo Set For 25th La Liga Game

Moses Simon faces his toughest battle on the football pitch when his side, Levante visit the Camp Nou of all places tonight (Saturday) to trade tackles with Barcelona who are on the cusp of winning the La Liga title, Completesports.com reports.

Barca’s 2-0 win away to Alaves means the Catalans can confirm a 26th La Liga crown should they defeat Levante on home turf and with talisman and top scorer, Lionel Messi available, another victory is in the offing.

Levante will, however, be boosted by a 4-0 midweek smacking of Real Betis which lifted them three points clear of the relegation zone while the Valencia-based side beat Barça in the Copa del Rey earlier this year and 5-4 in the top-flight late last season.

Simon who has so far made seven starts from 16 La Liga appearances from which he has just a goal will surely have to be at his utmost best to find the net against Barcelona.

Kenneth Omeruo, on the other hand, is set to make his 25th La Liga appearance for Leganes who play host to Celta Vigo at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque also today (Saturday).

The defender has been so good that he has picked up just six yellow cards while making 107 recoveries, 837 successful passes and clocking 2,111 minutes so far this season.
