Nantes winger Moses Simon claimed the Super Eagles have the quality to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite their precarious position in the qualifiers.
The Super Eagles are yet to record a win the qualifying series after four games.
Augustine Eguavoen’s side are languishing in fifth position in their group with three points.
Despite the tough task before the team, Simon is optimistic they will scale through the hurdle.
“We have the quality, we have what it takes to win,” the 29-year-old told BBC Sport Africa.
“We don’t believe that we are not going to the World Cup.
“The last qualifying games, we missed regular players and I believe they’ll be there next year to help the team.”
