US rapper Drake is counting his losses this morning after staking huge money on Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk in the undisputed heavyweight clash in Riyadh.
Drake placed a bet of $565,000 on Fury, who lost to Usyk in a split decision to become the first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in 1999.

Drake has a history of betting big. However, his results have shown that he does not get his predictions right, which has led to the term ‘Drake’s curse’ being coined.
Drake lost a $550,000 bet when he backed Justin Gaethje to beat Charles Oliveira at UFC 274. However, it was Oliveira who won the fight in the first round, choking his opponent.
Drake also recently bet $615,000 for Francis Ngannou to beat Anthony Joshua. However, Joshua stopped Ngannou in the second round. But his most recent bet paid off.
