Sissoko Wants Juventus To Sign Osimhen

Former Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko wants the club to sign Victor Osimhen this summer.

The Bianconeri will look to sign a new striker this summer following the departure of Paulo Dybala.

There are also reports that Spain striker Alvaro Morata could leave this summer, with Premier League club Arsenal his preferred destination.

Sissoko believes Osimhen would be a good replacement for the Dybala and Morata.

“Victor Osimhen without a doubt,” Sissoko told Il Bianconero when asked to nominate a replacement.

“He is the right player for Juve, there are other young and strong players but Osimhen is devastating.

“I hope that Juve will have a strong player and be a champion.”

Osimhen scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 27 league appearances for Napoli in the 2021/22 campaign.

He was named the best U-23 striker in the Italian top-flight despite over two months of action due to injury.

The Nigerian picked up the injury in Napoli’s 1-0 home defeat to Inter Milan in November.

The injury forced Osimhen to miss the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The striker linked up with Napoli from Ligue 1 club Lille in 2020. He scored 10 goals in 23 appearances in his first season at the club.
