Soumaoro Open To Exit

Lille’s Adama Soumaoro says leaving in the summer could be an option should the right offer comes in.

The central defender has impressed this season and was linked with a potential switch to Monaco in January, but was reluctant to move mid-season.

Soumaoro is under contract with Les Dogues until 2021 but has been at the club for a decade and seems ready for a change.

Everton have been linked with the 26-year-old’s signature in the past and the Paris-born star has hinted that he could look to move on at the end of the current campaign.

“If I’m going to leave the LOSC this summer,” he is quoted as saying by France Football. “Not necessarily, but I’m listening. “I have no dreams but I’m ambitious.

I want to be playing at the highest level and I’ve been here for ten years, and I’m thinking about it more and more.”
