Southgate Gives Verdict On Future With England

England coach, Gareth Southgate believes his young squad can improve better despite losing the Euro 2020 title to Italy.

Recall that on Sunday, the Three Lions lost 3-2 to the Azzurri via penalty shootouts after the game ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.

Asked about the prospects of the group ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers during the press conference, Southgate insisted that he needs some time to reflect on England’s future.

“Personally I can’t really talk about that, that feels like a million miles away.

“I think for certain this team can be better and improve, you have seen the number of young players we have blooded in in this tournament who have been absolutely fantastic. But for the future I need a bit of time to reflect on that.”

SAKA THE NIGERIAN BOY WHO CHOSE TO SERVE HIS SLAVE MASTERS INSTEAD OF HIS FATHERLAND NIGERIA HAS BEEN TARGETED FOR RACIAL ABUSE AFTER MISSING HIS SPORT KICK. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9778845/Bukayo-Saka-subject-sickening-racial-abuse-Englands-Euro-2020-defeat.html

  • @ gowetok I saw that coming and I am also sure his parents also saw all this coming his way that is why his father in particular wanted saka to play for the super eagles….saka’s father is a die hard super eagles fan and always dreamt of his son playing for Nigeria but his agent who is also a Nigeria but a business man thought saka’s market value will be on a high side if he is on the English team and that’s the goal from day one…..His parents knew he would have a fulfilled career with Nigeria…..His parents knew he would have a Long career with Nigeria….His parents knew he would be a super eagles legend…..His parents knew he would go to numerous tornaments with Nigeria….His parents knew he would probably win trophies with Nigeria…..But they also wanted the best for his club career so they bowed to his agents’ desire not knowing that the agent is just a business man trying to promote his assets and keep his assets at a standard market value for a maximum amount of time…..He has started the journey and he should face it….I knew all this will surface one day because international football is not always a smooth ride but I never knew it would happen this early and I also never knew it would be this crusial
    and brutal.

Set awon yeye Coach like Rhor and Southgate always looking for excuse even when it’s glaring their is none. It still baffles me making reference to a young team. Where was he when Italy took over the midfield completely to the extent of having Chielleni and Bonnuci most times in the midfield from the 2nd half that i begin to watch the match till 120 mins. You have Rashford, Grealish, Sancho and Folden to throw in to keep the Italians at bay. Instead you sat on the Bench lost with no idea or tactics. England fans should. channel their energy to the sack of Southgate rather than condemnation of the 3 young Men made to take penalties.

That’s the easy way to know people that are playing bet all about, sack a coach that took a young team to their first final.
