Spain Fantasy Derby Challenge: Meet the Rivals!

This week, the first Spanish Derby Challenge brings you Real Madrid vs Atletico de Madrid.

Derby Challenge, all the fantasy thrill in just one game!

You already know this by heart, but Realfevr has the Derby Challenge as its third game model and it was created for people that like to compete in a single event, creating a team for a specific game, with limited choices and 90 minutes of adrenaline and ecstasy.

Can you feel the tension? The two epic rivals will face each other in Madrid in a heated showdown this Saturday, December 12 at 20:00, at Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano.

This week, we debut Spain Fantasy’s Derby Challenge with a true classic: Real Madrid vs Atletico de Madrid and you can already build your team at https://fantasy.realfevr.com/t/DERBYCES.

Real Madrid plays at home and with such comfort comes higher chances to impress, but Atletico de Madrid won’t let that be the deciding factor, as they are well placed in the competition.

According to many fans, the rivalry between the two teams has been growing in the last few years. Both are clubs with contrasting identities and very different fates, and both are great sides.

Real Madrid, packed with world class players and backed up by an elite following, currently sits in 4th place in La Liga. However, Atletico de Madrid has been going for the kill lately, sporting 6 wins in the last two months, being in 1st place without defeats. They each bring their own qualities to the table, or in this case, the field. With potential results being disputed and opinions divided amongst loyal fans, this could be an “anything goes” match, although Atletico seems more likely to emerge victorious.

Los Blancos or Los Colchoneros, the decision of which team to choose, is up to you! Who will win and who will score more points on this Derby Challenge:

  • Real Madrid or Atletico de Madrid?
  • Thibaut Courtois or Jan Oblak?
  • Sergio Ramos or Kieran Trippier?
  • Vinícius Júnior or João Félix?
  • Karim Benzema or Luis Suárez?

Results and answers will be revealed this Saturday at Madrid.

Derby Challenge — the new game model by RealFevr

Derby Challenge: a new game model, much like a Daily Fantasy, where you compete in a single event, creating a team for a specific game (or two, max), with limited choices and all the adrenaline just jam-packed into 90 minutes.

In more practical terms, to play RealFevr’s newest competition Derby Challenge you’ll need to create a new team when one is announced (Derby Challenge is not always available) and the most common rules of Classic Leagues will apply here (auto-subs, manual subs, scoring, leaderboards, etc) and will run side-by-side with their “core competitions”, Liga NOS Virtual, England Fantasy and other options available at RealFevr. On top, there will be a leaderboard for the sum of all the Derby Challenges throughout the season.

In spite of the majority of rules being the same as the classic mode of England Fantasy, there are some specific Derby Challenge rules that you must be aware of, we will state them here:

A player is only able to register one team on Derby Challenge league;

The player will have a maximum budget of 120M;

There are no limit of players from each club to make your team;

To use the “automatic replacements” feature, you can only make changes on your team 15 minutes before de beginning of the (first) match of Derby challenge. After that time, the feature will be disabled;

The price of players opposite of England Fantasy league (that is a continuous duration competition), won’t have price variations during the season.

Now, don’t waste time and create your own team at https://fantasy.realfevr.com/t/DERBYCES

Good luck,
The RealFevr team
