Tottenham have confirmed that they have activated their option to extend the contract of defender Toby Alderweireld.
The former Ajax star has been tracked by rival clubs, with Manchester United said to be keen, but by extending his deal Spurs ensure he will stay for a further season at least.

What happens at the end of his current deal remains open to question and Tottenham will no doubt be doing their utmost to get him signed on to a longer and more secure deal if they can to prevent him from moving away for free at the end of his deal.
There are also reports claiming the extension of his present deal has a clause which allows Alderweireld to leave if another club comes up with an offer of £25m or more before the final two weeks of the summer’s transfer window.
If that proves to be correct then Spurs have bought themselves six months in which to tie him down to a new contract or find a replacement for next season.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
