Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez, is set to join his bosom friend, eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi at MLS side Inter Miami in December.
The Major League Soccer club has agreed with Gremio for Luis Suarez and the 36-year-old will move to Inter Miami at the end of the current Brazilian Serie A season.
According to ESPN, Suarez will sign a one-year deal with Inter Miami, with an option to extend for another year.

Rumours about Suarez making a move to Major League Soccer began swirling in the summer when his bosom friend, Messi, joined the Miami-based club.
However, it was always stated by Gremio that the Brazilian Serie A season would have to end for Suarez to make the switch.
Suarez and Messi were teammates at Laliga outfit Barcelona from 2014 to 2020 winning four Laliga trophies and the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League title.

Gremio are fourth in the Brazilian Serie A standings at the moment with 53 points from 31 matches.
Suarez is the all-time highest goalscorer for Uruguay with a total of 68 goals in 137 appearances.
He is Gremio’s top scorer this season with 10 goals and 10 assists in 31 appearances.
Inter Miami finished 14th on the MLS Eastern Conference table with 34 points accrued from 34 matches.
