Success Fires Watford Into FA Cup 5th Round As Mikel Debuts For Boro; Balgoun Missing

Isaac Success made his fifth FA Cup appearance on Saturday and scored for Watford who beat Newcastle United 2-0 to advance to the fifth round of the English FA Cup at St James Park reports Completesports.com..

Andre Gray put Watford ahead against Newcastle just after the hour-mark before Success’ last-minute strike made sure of victory to send Hornets into the fifth-round of the FA Cup.


The goal was Success’ fourth in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel made his debut for Middlesbrough in Saturday English FA Cup clash which ended 1-1 against Newport County.


The former Chelsea star, Mikel featured for 62 minutes before he was replaced for Andy Clayton in his 32nd appearance in the competition.


Daniel Ayala shot Middlesbrough into the lead in the 50th minute but Mark Dolan forced a replay for Newport County with late equaliser at the Riverside stadium.


Elsewhere, Super Eagles centre-back, Leon Balogun was not in Brighton & Hove Albion’s matchday squad that drew goalless against West Bromwich Albion.
