Super Eagles Camp Comes Alive As More Players Arrive For AFCON Qualifiers

11 out of the 23 invited players are now in Super Eagles camp ahead of Saturday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying encounter against the Squirrels of Benin, reports Completesports.com.

Enyimba duo John Noble and Anayo Iwuala joined their teammates in camp following their involvements in the Peoples Elephant’s Nigeria Professional Football League game against Sunshine Stars at the Agege Stadium on Monday night.

Earlier on Monday, Shehu Abdullahi, Adekunle Adeleke, and Chidizoe Awaziem stormed the team’s Hotel Hotel camp.

It would be recalled that William Troost Ekong, Ola Ainam Semi Ajayi, Henry Onyekuru, Oghenekaro Etebo and Ahmed Musa were among the early arrivals on Sunday night.

More players are expected to arrive the team’s camp on Tuesday night.

The Super Eagles will hold their first training session at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday morning.

      So because they are home based, you want them to be better than foreign based by force…it is well.
      So when they also become foreign based now your tone will change and you will begin to clamour for a change in the lineup of the SE because we must have home based by force, that is when you will know that JEDI KOLA out of the blues in the league is “far better” as you people like to say it than adeleke andanayo combined.
      This is my own take, let the best leg represent Nigeria. It doesn’t matter where they play all this home based , African league South American Asian and European quota systems that you all want is the problem of this country. Let us use meritocracy and not quotatocracry.

    Bro how Dem go show zaidu wey dey play UCl say football know him people…they can only give what dem have. Make we dey observe. Support all but no expect home based boys to play cus ohr no go wan experiment at this stage. Na to make the lads acclimatize to Eagles camp. Hopefully Dem take their chance & train harder than the rest.
