  • Guys we can’t blame Rohr for this He was missing Key Players. Lets Face it. We can’t blame Rohr too much okay maybe tactically yes, But I feel even with Poor tactics Osimhen would have broken that Defensive line of Algeria more than once and Knowing VO9 he would have buried the ball in the back of the net at least twice add Joe Aribo and Ndidi to the fray. I can’t really blame Rohr much but he needs to improve Match day selection and in game decision Making.

Osimhen is one man, he cant do all the work.

He would need a good team to play and supply good balls too

I wonder why senegal is still retaining the number spot in Africa …if it was base on this last friendlies they also lost ….for me Algeria should be on that spot ….number one….but generally judging a team base on friendly match is a no no for me …but it is what it is …we should now take every game serious to avoid going down down …my opinion anyway

The reason why Senegal is still on top despite losing is the same reason Atalanta is still above Napoli in the Serie A table despite losing 1-4 over the weekend. If a team previously has 25 points and even lo0ses 3 games on a trot and another team previously has 7 points and wins 3 straight games, it still would not usurp the team with 25 points. Ranking is based on ranking points acquired. That said, just as you have affirmed, we must start taking every game serious. In football, every game counts….even if it is a preseason game. History and records, once made, can never be altered.

Heavenly father, where did this Dr. Drey get his sense from eh? When we are being led to believe by some people that friendly matches are not played to be won, Dr. Da Bomb Drey is drilling home the fact that ‘we have to take all games seriously’. Enough said. 1,000 Gbosas for you (but don’t wait for me to count them, I will leave you with the honours LOL).

I really expected this outcome so I am not surprise just as I was not surprise when Algeria beat us again in our last meeting with them.

Why didn’t Rohr invite Ramon Azeez with his level of experience in Spain when it was very clear that we were depleted in our midfield collection. I hope he has really learned going forward because with his level of technical know-how he really need to add some sort of cutting edge to his coaching gimmicks when the chips are down just like the last situation we all withness.

  • Solve this for me:
In any tournament, Nigeria need just 4 Wingers/Speeders and Two Top Strikers in which currently, we have Osimhen and either Dessers or Iheanacho.
From the speeders, we have Chukwueze(Surest) forget the last performances and now Ejuke. If we are to bring in Lookman,
2 out of Musa, Simon and Kalu have to leave. Cast your vote now.
But for me..I know Rohr will stick to the regulars and if Lookman’s performance deserve call up, he can move Ejuke(the new comer)
Choose your best 4 for any tournament.

    kalu, Samuel, ejuke,lookman

On point Kingston. But honestly don’t think Rohr likes this headache. Lol

    • Nope it’s Simon ejuke Kalu  and lookman
Moses Simon is the only winger who pulls a standard cross into the 18yard box!!!and tracks back as well Also plays anywhere across the front three, common!! Chukwueze style has been found out by many defenders!!! He has no surprises and it’s only one leg u have. If he was at robbens level now we could consider but not now dat he is still honing his craft..
Simonand the rest are double footed

It will all depends on who’s in form and who shows consistency over the next two years culminating to the Mundial if we make it all the way. I believe the SuperEagles have the pedigree and the players to achieve that feat. A tournament opportunity beckons in Cameroon so whoever shows consistency within now and then gets the nod for me. We must return to winning ways against Sierra Leone next month to qualify for the AFCON. Then focus on the WorldCup qualifiers starting from next March or so. Shikeena.

@deee you are right from another point of view, especially with the crossing part of Simon. not only that, Simon is the first option you can still of when it comes to playing a wingback from the players mentioned, though kalu won’t do bad. it was difficult dropping Simon but personally Samuel has better quality than Simon in an overall game. and the thing about Samuel being predictable happens only when he has a poor game
