So nice seeing them bonding. So Chief Thomas A. HRH you need your glasses to know if Victor Osimhen is training? You funny no be small. By the way guys, what tactics and formation is Rohr playing?

  • I saw the training but my question goes to Chief Thomas Adeboye HRH. Why Chief didn’t ask of Odion Ighalo considering his prominence in the team? I need an answer.

  • All the best lads……You can destroy Liberia with ease…..Why can’t we have lurch pitches like this in Nigeria…..Na wa o.

  • OLD PICTURE MY GUY OPEN EYE

  • Daniel Aimakhu 2 years ago

@Kenneth, Rohr mostly prefers the 5-2-3-1 formation but I would rather he plays 5-3-3.

    • Henry 2 years ago

I pray. Those guys only ran around the field, I didn’t see any formation.

  • Please am sorry for derailing the discussion……why is nobody talking about Akinkunmi amoo?……That guy is out of this world……I stumbled upon his match and I was marvelled by his improvement so far…..His pace is electric and his dribbling skills are very neat……Amoo will be moving to a top5 league very soon I can assure.

    • Ayphillydegreat 2 years ago

Akinkunmi Amoo Nigeria’s little Messi! I read an article about him on goal.com this morning as NXGN upcoming precocious talent. He’s only 5’3” but built like Mack truck. Reminds me of Etim Esin. I think he could be long term solution to our creative midfield issues. Very skillful with venomous shots in his boots.

      • JimmyBall 2 years ago

A couple of about 6-7 players of the likes of Amoo, Nwakali and Oladoye should have been called up against Mexico in the last matchup blended with capable homebased, the likes of Iwuala but no… that game was wasted again without trying a couple of these real young budding talent we have…

      • Patrator 2 years ago

Akinkunmi Amoo is a fine baller. Man is matured enough for SE but palms must be greased before Jack Robinson.

He’s got brilliant pace, eye for good through balls, man dribbles with ease. Corruption is a bad thing o chai …Talents full 9ja but ehn

      • Yes ooo, our own little Messi finally

    • He reminds me of Ezekiel Imoh in his Hayday in standard Liege between 2012 -2014. But I will hold my reservation until he moves to a tougher league. Swedish League is not as strong as the main Eng, Ger, ESP and ITA leagues.

But his speed and Dribbling is scary

  • SholaF 2 years ago

Training ke, are the players about traveling to Morroco?

  • Monday 2 years ago

Asking if SE players are already in Morroco. Like say this SholaF don’t even know how, when and what to comment sef. People are training for a fixed odd match, you are asking that kin question. Good luck SE!

  • Invite him to your own team now since you are now a coach that is concerning himself with players selections and tactics Mtcheeeeew. Give yourself hypertension over issues you are less concern with because of hatred.

  • JimmyBall 2 years ago

@AKp… if Amoo had signed to DW Sports Management or greased palms… you would have seen in the team now! I saw Amoo at 2019 U-17 and knew he was bigtime… there is another guy in that U-17 team Olusegub from ABS Academy that was the most technical now playing at Rubin Kazan, Russia but he played too selfish at the world cup proper!

My money is on Olusegun, Amoo and Tijanni from that U-17 team of Brazil 2019. Amoo should be in our Super Eagles now because he is clearly more talented than both Karim Adeyemi and Jamal Musiala! But They will ask… who will he come and bench in the Super Eagles… yet that have not answered who Musa Ahmed is benching these days!

    • JimmyBall 2 years ago

They have not answered who Ahmed Musa is benching these days…

    • NA ME TALK AM 2 years ago

@jimmyball .. Brotherly abeg they try calm down with unnecessary hype and beer joints talks na . Amoo is more talented than Jamal Musiala for which universe that one take happen huh ? .

You don’t play for Bayern 1st team and German National team at a very young age , if you are not extremely talented .

So please stop all this hype and let the kid grow into star .

JIM JIM .. Yes we all love our African / Nigerian players but make we dey try reduce all this unnecessary hype on our players .

      • JimmyBall 2 years ago

Musiala is not better than Amoo… na for your own eye oga! I no get your kind eye for football… I play the game myself. Put Amoo for Bayern make you see whether them no go retire Musiala foer there… all these foreign borns just get previleged platform and Oyinbo the like encourage and give support to their own well… not like the Akara business Oga Rohr and his parleys are doing with Super Eagles… grease palms receive callup… we know!

        • Dr Banks 2 years ago

The way you are so against these foreign born players makes me wonder if there’s any truth in your claim that you live in Germany and even married to an Oyinbo woman. What will happen to your kids from this white woman?
Abi na one of these menopausal fat and ugly white woman you marry? Just wondering loudly o!!!

          • Chima E Samuels 2 years ago

Dr Banks I have a feeling you are pained by a misfortune that is why you used unnecessary words above. His points are valid and I stand with him on Amoo better than Musiala. Most o you guys have inferiority complex that is why you’ll rate Amoo coz he is fortunate to be in Bayern and German over Akinkumi forgetting that the boy is far more superior in attributes over Musiala. Once again your comments above only confirms what people have been saying in the forum about all the Drs having brain disorder.

      • Chima E Samuels 2 years ago

Na me talk am Amoo is far better than Musiala the highlights are there to watch. I wonder why Nigerians find it hard to judge clearly. You’re not different from Rohr who’s a poor Judge.

  • Super Eagles are getting knocked out. Unfortunately.

    • Machaveli 2 years ago

@Neo: Make you no disappear after we wallop Lone star and Cape verde’0. Mark dis space hypocrite.

  • Lol I hear waiting I never hear before amoo is better than musiala? A Bayern and German establish player he no surprise me though some pple dey talk say nwakali better pass iwobi dey go still talk say sadiq umar is better than lewadoski uzoho is better than oblak funny pple

    • Chima E Samuels 2 years ago

Yes Amoo is a better player one on one. Na condition make crayfish bend make them leave the two of them Musiala go confess. Musiala is more valued because of the country he represents and Club. But for Skills and attributes common Amoo is miles ahead no wonder he’s called Little Messi.

      • onwajunior 2 years ago

Baba be calming down! The quality of opposition matters too oh. You can’t be comparing players in Swedish league with those in German league. Totally different..thats why Bayern wins CL and Swedish clubs don’t.

        • Chima E Samuels 2 years ago

We are talking about attributes and you’re talking about league most of you are public school drop out that is why you can’t comprehend.

          • onwajunior 2 years ago

Lool… Ur response shows how immature u r. Bros take ur mental health seriously

  • Super Eagles all the way everyday!!!

  • Proudly 9ja 2 years ago

Guys talk true, if Amoo was fortunate to be born in Gernany by nigerian parents and playing for Bayern would GR not be begging the boy to come play for 9ja? Like @Jimmyball said Musiala although skillfil is fortunate like many others like him to be born in germany, england, france etc in a system that help develop their footballing careers and provides an environment to excel. He is not better than Amoo in my view, just that he grew up in a better footballing system than dat in 9ja and the German teams of late tend to blood in young players same as spain. Let Amoo and Musiala trade places and see if Amoo wont dust him. We have been crying for a creative midfielder for some time now (begging the likes of eze, ejaria, olise to play for 9ja) and someone like Amoo is there and we don’t see reason in trying him. Some people will say he will get his time in friendlies or inconsequential matches like many others waiting fir their opportunities but we all know GR, he will stay with his so called tested and trusted saying there is limited time to test new players as the nations cup is too close bla bla bla. You guys will admit that even inconsequential matches GR will still play 70-80% of his regulars instead of using such games to try players and even when he tries new players he only gives dem few minutes which are not enough to guage a players ability. Some will say 10-15mins is enough for a player’s quality to shine thru but thats not entirely true. Gabriel Jesus missed an open net against man united which De Gea saved same way Awoniyi hit the target but a defender blocked his effort, there is very little difference between the 2 but u can be restassured that Gabriel Jesus will make man city starting 11 or be on d bench but just a minor miss, gbam Awoniyi is dropped for Ighalo. At least GR can no longer use the “young team” excuse anymore bcos there are now more older players than younger ones. Soon the average age will be 27yrs which isn’t young. I honestly saw no reason for GR’s panic honestly, we are thru to afcon and topping the wc qualifying group with just a minor blip that can happen to any team, to me the recall of ighalo and the clamoring for victor moses is absurd honestly. The young team beat liberia, cape verde, CAR, so who says we wont beat dem again with the young team. What is tge guarantee that ighalo or moses’ presence will ensure victory over them. Just my thoughts tho

    • Edoman 2 years ago

l am praying that our Ighalo should not come to play for Nigeria. l will be greatly disappointed if l see him play and score those vital goals for which he is noted for. Victor Moses says he will never play for his father’s land again. Please Ighalo. Don’t comeoooooo. Don’t say l didn’t tell you ooooo. If lghalo comes even though we beg you not to come, if you score one of those beautiful goals, Nigerians will not celebrate the goals with you oooo. You hear me so? Yea !!!!!.

  • Edoman 2 years ago

Amoo Akinkunmi is the future answer for the midfield and possibly for the striker position. From now on, l shall continue to sing his praise until he gets his place in the senior team. He is 17 now and he is 4’3″ tall.He is packed and loaded. He is better than Messe. Every Germans loves him so much, even he said so himself. This kid will bench any body.

  • Akinkunmi Amoo deserves a place in the super eagles. Nigeria just do things in barbaric ways, what’s stopping that young man from getting at least a trial in the Super eagles if not some hands of corruption.

  • Mr Hush 2 years ago

I have always been impressed by these young men; Kingsley Michael (who we’ve already seen in the Eagles’ jersey), Al hassan , Tom Dele-Bashiru and off course; Amoo. I think , barring any future dilemma , they could form part of our midfield bedrock in the not so distant future. I appreciate their quality.
All they need is just consistency. No matter how long, their time would come. There is no hiding place for quality.

  • Is amoo a midfielder? The amoo I know is a winger so I don’t know y u pple like comparing players amoo is a good player no one argue but is not yet ripe for super eagle leave the lad alone let him grow up and stop all this useless hyping the wey u hype nwakali and almost destroy the young lad career with hyping we can’t call all the players at a time very soon the like of dele bashiru, amoo, tijani, ubani, segun and so on their time will come let them develope well and stop the unnecessary hyping if u are England fans u will say they should call Hudson odoi ahead of foden because odoi can dribble and av skills than foden if dribble is the most important thing in football then dembele of Barca should one of the best player in the world

    • Amoo plays the right wings ans attacking midfielder for his clubs. Look it up. I follow their matches always. And about his age Amoo is just a year older (19) than Ansu fati of Barcelona who is also a key member of the Spanish national team. So leave the age matter. Is it when he becomes old that he will be integrated into the eagles. Let the boy start training with the team abeg And he can also be used to execute low team games or less important friendly like those ones the home based eagles went and disgrace the nation.

      • They are gradually making a rule that states that SE is no longer meant for young players again……Smith rowle of Arsenal is in the English squad…….Ansu fati of barca is in the Spanish squad…… Adeyemi of Salzburg is in the Germany squad……But tiny Nigeria is saying no space for young players because they need oldies to come back from retirement……na wa o.

    • How did hyping destroy someone’s career?…… didn’t we also hype osimhen?why didn’t it destroy his career?……a good player is good and no hyping can destroy a good player…… Hyping can only destroy a player that was not good but misunderstood to be good…… Amoo is good and we pray we are right about that….. SIMPLE

  • JimmyBall 2 years ago

…when I read comments from @Proudly 9ja, @Tope, @Mr.Hush, @Akp,@Ayo and @Patrator above I do not need to say anymore regarding Amoo. When you you want to know a wicked young player, check him on comportment and fearlessness because everybody can do legover… but only a true baller can use that legover and go close to the likes of Paulo Maldini and try it… Amoo is a lion… mark my word in less than a year and half, that guy will retire someone in Super Eagles midfield! Who get am… get am!

@Dr.Banks A.K.A Dr.Drey… I am not married to any fat ugly menopausal whitelady, I am married to a beautiful young and Godly lady. If you know your English language well you will know that foreign-borns also mean full-blooded black Nigerina kids born abroad… not mixed kids alone… Eberechi Eze, Ovie Ejaria, Tom Dele-Bashiru and even Musiala are all classed as foreign borns… anyways, your comment only make me laugh… is Jamal Musiala is a starter for Bayern Munich or Germany? you know the answer, we know he is talented but he does not come close to Amoo… neither Karim Adeyemi also! Amoo is ripe for Eagles but I dont see him earning any cap until Gernot Rohr is gone…

Rohr has continue to stick with the same players who often turnout average performances and as a result some very good players have been forced to kiss international careers with Nigeria Super Eagles goodbye… sadly! Do we have more talents coming through as much as Germany, France and England? No… these nations always find ways to gradually involve everyone who is showing they deserve a look-in from time to time… See what Dessers have started doing now… Sadiq Umar is almost frustrated to his soul on not even making squad lists… not to talk of being fielded… maybe if he agrees to port to DW Sports Management Agency… he will have atleast 5caps now! I wish Super Eagles a good game though… let us see how they will get to the business of the upcoming game! I greet all…
