    Why is Ezenwa in camp

  • Presh 3 years ago

Don’t mind Enzewa, those who came to camp last friendly where those we were luring to come play for us, he is already a member why is he coming to cause unnecessary distraction.

  • Exciting seeing edo state deputy governor philip shaibu training with eagles at the sam ogbemudia staduim this evening

  • Na visit and to wish them good luck

  • Musa indeed has a wealth of experience playing for the Super Eagles, but I don’t see him starting on Friday.
I think with both etebo, aribo present and moses, kalu absent iwobi will be pushed to the left wing while chukwueze will start on the right.
Sierra leonians are strong physically so that knocks Aina and tyrone out of RB and ushers Awaziem (boavista stand in captain) in. Shehu has been absent from the team for a long time plus I can’t remember him ever playing in the defensive mid field position for the Super Eagles, so he is out and Ajayi is in. Ekong (asst captain) is also in along side ageless balogun and speedster Zaidu. At opposite ends of the field we have okoye in goal and Osimhen leading the attack. Oh yeah!
    My first 11 prediction:

    OKOYE

    AWAZIEM. EKONG. BALOGUN. SANUSI

    AJAYI.

    ETEBO. ARIBO.

    CHUKWUEZE. IWOBI.

    OSIMHEN

At some point in the game, I would like to see Ejuke and Dennis on the wings.
Rohr is likely to go with his preferred 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.
A 4-4-2 would work as well:
    Okoye
    Aina, Ekong, Balogun, Sanusi
    Dennis, Aribo, Iwobi, Ejuke
    Osimhen, Iheanacho

Aribo can play the DM role very comfortably. And Ancelloti seems to have increased the defensive discipline of Iwobi. The two of them should be sufficient in the midfield for an opponent like S/L, no disrespect intended.
The back four is solid, and should keep the S/L forwards quiet, ceteris paribus. Aina and Sanusi will be bombing forward to support the attack and whip crosses into the box, just like Robertson and Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool.
The forward line! With the aggressive Dennis on the right, the dribbling wizard Ejuke on the left, and the deadly duo of Osimhen and Iheanacho in the middle, the weather forecast says there will be a goal storm in Benin city on Friday. It will be raining goals, so don’t forget your umbrellas 🙂 🙂 🙂
Make we no go underrate S/L though. Underrating anybody in football nowadays is a recipe for disaster. We need to stay focused and fight hard for the duration of the game.
