The Super Falcons however maintained top spot in Africa.

Cameroon, South Africa, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Tunisia, Morocco, Mali, Algeria and Senegal remain in the African Top 10.

This ranking means they will all enjoy a first round bye for the African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.

World champions USA are the No 1 team in women’s football in the world.

  • In the Turkish cup they didn’t play strong, well ranked oppositions so this in a way affected their rankings not going up.

With a coach like randy now we should be playing second class European teams now not African teams or the Asian teams we are ranked higher than.

Now is the time to prepare for the 2023 women’s world cup.
