Gift Orban scored and also bagged an assist as Amedspor beat Beşiktaş 3-2 in the Turkish Süper Lig on Sunday.
Orban has now taken his tally in the Turkish topflight to seven goals and two assist in six matches.
Also, the 24-year-old has found the back of the net in his last four league appearances for Amedspor.
Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi, did not feature for Besiktas as he was an unused substitute in the encounter.
Orban opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a powerful long-range strike (around 25 meters), before providing the assist for Dia Saba to make it 2-0 goal in the 22nd minute.
Former Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic reduced the deficit to bring the score to 2-1 10 minutes into the second half but Furkan Soyalp restored Amedspor’s two-goal lead when he made it 3-1.
With six minutes left to play Amedspor were reduced to 10 men after Amadou Cisse was shown a straight red card.
In the 98th minute Besiktas got the game back at the 3-2 after Orkun Kökçü converted from the penalty spot but Amedspor held on to claim the three points.
